Go for the Marena!
I am absolutely thrilled with my MARENA SFBHS Stage 1 Short Length Girdle with High-Back and Hook-and-eye Front Closure – Tummy Control. This surgery girdle has truly been a game-changer in my recovery process.First and foremost, the high-back design provides excellent support and compression to my entire back area. It has helped alleviate any discomfort or pain that I was experiencing post-surgery, allowing me to move around more freely and comfortably. The added support has also improved my posture, which is an added bonus. The hook-and-eye front closure is incredibly convenient and easy to use. Unlike other girdles I have tried in the past, I don't have to struggle to put it on or take it off. The secure closure ensures that the girdle stays in place throughout the day, providing consistent compression and support to my abdomen.Speaking of compression, the tummy control feature of this girdle is exceptional. It has helped reduce swelling and inflammation in my abdominal area, promoting faster healing and a smoother recovery. I have noticed a significant improvement in the appearance of my tummy since I started using this girdle. The short length design of the girdle is perfect for me. It provides the necessary support and compression to my midsection without restricting movement in my legs or hips. I can wear it comfortably under my clothes without feeling restricted or uncomfortable. The quality of the MARENA SFBHS Stage 1 Short Length Girdle is outstanding. The material is soft, breathable, and durable. It doesn't irritate my skin or cause any discomfort, even when worn for extended periods of time. The girdle has maintained its shape and compression even after multiple washes, which is impressive.Overall, I highly recommend the MARENA SFBHS Stage 1 Short Length Girdle with High-Back and Hook-and-eye Front Closure – Tummy Control to anyone undergoing surgery or needing extra support and compression in their abdominal area. It has truly made a difference in my recovery journey, providing the comfort, support, and compression that I needed.

wish I had this faja right after surgery
After a tummy tuck, my doc provided a compression garment of his choice (Veronique brand). While it was high quality, he ordered it two sizes to small and wearing it was excruciating, so after a week I decided to replace it. The brand he used was way too expensive ($250) for an item I would only wear for a few weeks so I compromised with this and it worked well. It's not quite as compressive as the too-small Veronique -- if you need SUPER strong compression (or your doc orders it for you), go down a size. (In retrospect, I'd have done that myself.) But for longer term wear, go by your actual post-surgery waist size or even a size down. There are three rows of hook and eye closure so as your swelling goes down you can snug it up.One feature that made this one stand out over other lower-priced fajas and compression body suits was the open crotch was wide enough to actually be usable for toileting and not, um, make a mess or need to get my hands all in there to pull open the gusset flaps. When you have to wear something 24x7 for a month, this makes a huge difference!!I also appreciate that the thighs aren't too tight so they don't make them bulge, nor do they roll up.On the down side, I found the straps useless and I wish they were easily removable. They do allow you to unfasten them, but then you have straps hanging down your back. Cutting them off wasn't appropriate because of the shape of the attachment flaps. Oh well, it was only a month.

Great post-op garment!
Great quality. Took 4-5 days to receive but that was clear at order. I bought the same size as I got from the surgeon so I didn’t have to figure out size. It fits snug but not uncomfortable. I’m 6’0” and 180 lbs.

like skin
I bought this post tummy tuck as recommended by my surgeon. The material is light almost silky against my skin. The length on the legs were a little too long, although I am only 5'4". It offers some compression but not as much as I anticipated for a stage 1. It wears comfortable under clothing without being noticed.

Size chart is not correct at all.
I followed the size chart and first order an xxl even though I am 5’6 and 160 lbs. that’s what size it suggested I order. That was way too big, so then ordered this one. An xl. Washed it and it’s too big. So I couldn’t return. I ended up with a large and it’s perfect. But wasted a lot of money figuring that out.

Very soft but hate that the size is off
Ok, after looking at soooo many. This stage 1 faja was referred to me by my masseuse. She highly recommended it. I am 18 days post op, and the binder has ran its course. I took the measurements as shown, waist, hip, thigh… and based on that I got the 2XL. It’s been 24hrs now and now I feel like I need to be in a L or XL. I am 5’1 166lbs, and now I can’t exchange or return it. I think if you’re reading this I would go a size down. The material is very nice and soft on your body and breathable. The crotch size well it’s a big hole. I wish it came with a zipper or something but to fix that I just wear underwear over it. Now I’m stuck wearing this size. Smh!

Fit is too large based on measurements
Bought this post lipo. Based on measurements, bought a Small, which was much too large and provided no compression even on tightest setting. Of course, can’t return once its been tried on so that was $147 wasted. Ordered XXS and it provides sufficient compression on middle hooks, but within a week when the swelling has started to go down, it will also be too large. The material is stretchy which makes it more comfortable but also means it doesn’t provide much compression unless its very tight. The material is also very smooth which means its easy on the skin, especially where there is swelling. However, the straps hit right at the crease of my armpit and rub/chafe. I had to unhook them after a couple hours because I had red blisters where the hook rubs. It seems like the straps are set very wide compared to normal placement of bra straps and as a result, they are very uncomfortable. Overall, I don’t think this is very well designed for post surgery.
