Don’t waste your money, you’ve been warned!
Thought I would try powdered egg for baking since the hens aren’t being as productive. I’ve not tried egg powder before but read reviews on different brands. Just tried this in a pumpkin pie, it did not end well. When it cooked it wanted to kinda boil? Hard to describe. It also got much darker than normal, it did not hold the pumpkin part together, it’s a sort of gloppy mess that comes apart. Tasted it, and it’s a strange taste, like it was salty? Chalky? It wouldn’t surprise me if the shells were included. Previous to this i’ve been baking pies every week and they always turn out splendid, this is just gross. And when I purchased there were no reviews yet, nor did it mention it was a product of China, really I would have avoided altogether had I known then what I know now. Take this garbage out of the store and don’t sell it. Don’t buy it. Don’t waste a pie on it. Feed it to your enemies. RIP pumpkin pie

Used for a recipe
It is what it says....I just needed some for a recipe so there's not much else I can say about it. It's as described and came quickly.

Disappointed
I bought 5 bags. Big mistake. I bought these to use for scrambled eggs. That did not work at all. I tried whipping them up as directed and putting them in the pan with a little oil, did not work. Then I tried whipping them up with water and using no oil, just a hot pan. Nope. I then tried whipping them up and cooking in the microwave. Still just this gross liquid that looked like melted grease. They came out nothing like eggs. How is that possible if they are 100% egg? May work in baking but do not get them if you wanna make scrambled eggs. It won’t work. Good luck.

Not sure...
I've never used dried egg powder before so I don't have anything to compare this to, but it's certainly not the same as using traditional eggs, so you wouldn't be able to use these in breakfast meals where egg is the main ingredient. This might work ok in baking but as others have mentioned, the instructions vary from description here and what's on the package, so some experimenting would be needed to make sure you get the right consistency. I'd probably pass on this one.

Not egg.
It doesn’t smell like egg, behave like egg, or taste like egg. The powder tastes sweet. When I followed the directions and tried cooking the eggs, the mixture changed from opaque to translucent and then just bubbled in the pan. Another reviewer posted photos and I had the exact same results. I’m afraid to even eat it.

Easy to use
Instructions are clear and this is easy to use. We often use flax eggs when we run out of eggs so I love having this in those cases. Especially during the winter it’s hard to get farm fresh eggs. This is great to have on hand for baked goods or waffles/pancakes. Convenient and easy to use

Great for a back up. When you run out of eggs and do not want to head to the store in bad weather.
The bet thing I like about this Egg powder is convenience, versatility, and nutritional value make it a worthwhile pantry staple for anyone looking to simplify their cooking or baking routine. Whether you're stocking up for emergencies, planning a camping trip, or just looking for a convenient alternative to fresh eggs, Whole Egg Powder is worth considering for its convenience and versatility. The powder performs admirably and offers all the nutritional benefits of fresh eggs without the need for refrigeration or cracking shells.
