XMark Olympic Weight Set with Olympic Bar, Barbell Olympic Weight Set, TEXAS STAR Weight Plate Set with the XMark BLACKHAWK Barbell, or BLACKHAWK Olympic Bar Sold Individually

So like everyone caught without a gym during covid-19 I was desperate in the search for gym equipment to work out with. I came across this barbell on Amazon and the reviews seemed decent, the price point was ok and really I just wanted a barbell so I went ahead and bought it.I'm happy to say that the quality of the barbell is excellent. The knurls are grippy and solid and the rotation of the barbell is great. The packaging that came in was slightly torn but the barbell itself was fine. I am by no means an expert lifter or anything but I do standard weight training, deadlifts, squats, chest press etc and the barbell has performed flawlessly.Now is this barbell comparable to offerings from higher end manufacturers like Rogue etc? That I can't answer as I've never used a Rogue barbell, I'm sure there are some minute differences that experts can spot but for a newbie lifter like me this barbell has rocked and I'm quite happy with it.

The box came in good condition and bar looked good as well. No damage. Haven’t used it yet as I am still putting together my gym. But did put on some plates and did some deadlifts/cleans/snatch’s and bar feels great. It’s got a nice skinny bar which I love maybe you don’t. The knurls feel great too. I love this bar so far. Spins really nice too!

They did a great job packaging it. Nice quality. Would buy again.

Bottom line up front, this is a great bar and a great value.First off I want to say Xmark’s customer service was excellent and the quality of the shipping greatly exceeded my expectations, this bar was packaged better than any other manufacturer I have purchased from to date (Rogue, Fringe Sport, Titan).I would consider myself a garage gym barbell snob and I took a chance on this bar and I’m so glad I did! The knurl is light-medium depth but is very grippy due to the coating and is great for high rep work but still has enough stick to do heavy deadlifts, I have had zero issues with the knurl and grip. The spin on this bar is amazing! Very smooth and consistent, the spin is also pretty dang fast which is awesome for OLY lifts (clean & jerk, snatch).If you are in the market for a really good general purpose training bar you will be hard pressed to find a better bar at this price point. Extremely happy with my purchase!

This is a great bar. I do find myself wishing the knitting were a little more aggressive.

Seriously awesome for what you pay. I had a golds gym bar that purchased in 2008 snap while lifting, ironically the replacement came in on time. Affordable, feel is good, weight matched up when I scaled it, only minus was shipping. Came in a box, barbell was placed in a cardboard tube that has the ends screwed to the cardboard tube. One end cap screw wasn’t screwed in effectively, while removing the barbell it shot out at me. Probably should have two person removed, but my husband isn’t an avid lifter like myself. Shin survived but recommend caution. Asides from packaging mishap, I am likely to buy another.

Bearings are smooth. coating is tough. Pay for what you get. Great product.

Best needle bearing barbell for the money. Very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend this barbell. I was using a CAP barbell that was hurting my wrists when I lifted heavy this bar rolls really good which takes a lot of pressure off your wrists.
