DO NOT BUY THESE--They are a waste of your precious money!
I bought these and immediately started getting drum error messages despite them fitting and printing. Life was busy at the time, though, so I figured if my jobs were printing, I could live with a blinking toner light. However, out of nowhere, after about 90 days of use, both drums stopped working. No matter what troubleshooting I tried, I experienced high-pitched noises, toner smears, poor quality prints, and paper jams (even after switching to a brand new genuine Brother Toner cartridge). So many poor trees gave their lives while I tried to rectify the problem. These are a waste of your precious money. When dividing the price by the months, the real deal is going to be a savings so back to the Brother brand I go, but I'm extremely angry these are even on the market. It appears they were designed to work just long enough to steal your money and to be just outside the Amazon return window without any buyer recourse.

Fit exactly. IMPORTANT ! These are simple to install and easy to get working but they are not plug and play. It is easy to Google up your Brother Printer's Drum specific replacement instructions. Follow them and this DRUM unit will work. Just take ouf the old one and slide this one in as I first did, and it won't.

After install the printer flashed a "non brother Drum Unit" error message. Haven't had any issues or messages. Works great!
