Great Italian pasta. As advertised

My family loves this Rummo pasta all shapes and sizes. I also give as gifts when visiting my son, he enjoys a care package from Mom. There is a difference in quality of the pasta and how a delicious homemade sauce clings to it. The cooking time is different than store bought, read the recommended time and enjoy aldente !!

Excellent pasta. “Lenta Lavorazione” means it is processed slowly. It is a lighter color than pasta made in the US, which means it is a higher quality. (Compare different brands in the grocery stores) Pasta makers in the US tend to dry their pasta at very high heat, which means they can produce masses of it, faster, thus, more money. Of more importance to me, the pasta is made in Italy, using Italian wheat, which is definitely better than our American wheat, which has been modified to the point of being unrecognizable. Every trip I make to Italy, I eat tons of pasta and pizza, and NEVER have any stomach issues. Italy is proud of their cuisine, and rightfully so. The Rummo products take a bit longer to cook, so expect that.

Pricey, due to tariffs, etc., but worth it. It's delicious --unlike most other brands, which taste like paste starch. Has a nutty flavour, and good texture. They upgraded my order for free, as well. Will definitely be ordering from them again!
