Loon Outdoors UV Nano Light

I was a little worried that it would not be powerful enough, but trust me, it works just fine. It is small; 3 inches or so long. You just twist the front to turn it on, and again to turn it off. Just sets in the back tray and is ready anytime I need it.

Great light a bit on the spendy side for the size but it works well. It’s also a Loon product so you can never go wrong with it. This is a single 3 A light. Havnt had it long enough to know how long it lasts.

Small form factor but the amount of flies i tie, it will work just fine.

Works as it should

The form factor is nice and convenient. It feels fairly well made and I like the lanyard. Two cons: 1. the o-ring was rotten out of the box, which makes me think it was old stock and had been on a shelf or exposed to heat. I can replace it myself though. 2. the instructions on the box are wrong. It shows the rear of the light screwing open. It's a single piece and doesn't. The front of the light screws off to give you battery access. Just a small detail, but again makes me think this is something Loon isn't really committed to.

Get another brand. Honestly after seeing thousands of reviews for loon products I thought this would be a great deal. But after trying 10+ different loon products, I have been dissatisfied every time and end up buying something to replace every time. This is no exception, even with brand new batteries and following Loons instructions, it doesn’t cook UV resin properly(loon resin and other brands). You will always be left with a very tacky surface or the resin will discolour severely in a few days. Since trying this I have switched to a few other lights (one very cheap light and one expensive light). They both work much better than this light.
