Spanish for the whole family
We bought this Spanish book for our 5-year-old but the whole family learned a lot from my daughter doing the lessons in the book. We bought several other in the series after this.

Easy to use for home
I used this workbook to homeschool kids during summer breaks and as a native Spanish speaker, I can say that it is pretty easy to use for both the teacher and the students. Some flash cards attached at the end of the book. High recommend these to be laminated.

Good Workbook for 3-6th Grades
We're using this for 5th Grade Spanish Homeschool, and like it. Well laid out material that makes it easy to progress and practice. Colors, days of the week, objects, etc. Would recommend for about 3-6 Grades. We also have the high school version of this workbook but it quickly became complicated and not that helpful for beginners. This elementary version is better for basic vocabulary and beginners interests. Soft paperback workbook is good quality, no issues.

I like it don't get me wrong
I have boon this book quite well and the activities are fairly easy for my Spanish speaker but they're just a few words that completely throw me off. Like this one in page 32 which says "Hace fresco" meaning "it's cold" I have never heard anyone say "it's cold" like that. It's normally said "Esta fresco" and "Esta soleado" instead of "Hace sol" ?? Like what??? I have not checked the whole book but this are the ones I've found odd in the book so far.

Great Spanish workbook!
Great workbook to have for beginners! My parents are Colombian I speak fluent Spanish and my hubby does not. I would speak to my kids in Spanish but they would always respond back in English. This book has help them gain confidence by reading and writing. I basically have Spanish class for them here at home. I make copies and have them do the worksheets. The book does a wonderful job by helping parents to teach the language to their kids. My kids are 2, 5, 10, and 12. I go over the alphabet, colors and numbers with my 2yr old for now. Sooo happy I bought this book! You will not regret buying it.

Best Spanish Resource for Elementary Students
As a highly qualified, homeschool teacher, I find that Carson Dellosa's Spanish Elementary is the best resource to use when teaching elementary students Spanish. As expected, the concepts are never too overwhelming, because each page only introduces a few examples of each concept. In addition, I use Google Translator and Spanish videos from YouTube or our local library to review concepts taught and fully comprehend pronunciations. We began learning Spanish in sixth grade, and will continue to build upon it with Carson Dellosa's Spanish Middle/High School for seventh and eighth grades. By the time ninth grade's requirement for a foreign language approaches, we are hoping to have a very clear understanding of the Spanish language.
