Cascade 220 Yarn #7827 Goldenrod

I knit a sweater with the yarn previously and was so impressed with the results, excellent stitch definition, beautiful heathered colorway and great warmth. With results such as this I wanted to make another garment with this yarn. Highly recommend. Only slight drawback is it could be just a bit softer; but 100% wool has a bit of roughness, not enough to deter the purchase..

As expected

This Cotton Candy is a beautiful color. I used it to make a wool diaper soaker for my great niece. I used the color TUTU for the front and Cotton Candy for the back. I crocheted a tie with both colors crocheted together. Really fun to work with because it was so soft. I'll need to get more, I'm sure. I recommend it to anyone.

Cascade 220 yarn is the one of the best yarns for felting projects. I'm working my way through the book "Pursenalities : 20 Great Knitted and Felted Bags" by Eva Wiechmann. alpacadirect has all or at least almost all of the available colors of Cascade 220. The price is excellent too. I'll be buying lots more of this yarn as I work my way through the book.

I've always enjoyed using Cascade for their smoothness when working on a projects. When finished the results always have an even and smooth look.

Crocheting to felt a messenger bag, going slow because its a very tight stitch and doing another project simultaneously but it is a dense yarn and holding well.

This yarn is just as described! Excellent quality - but I wasn't surprised, as Cascade is one of my fav yarns.

Nach dem ich über eine Woche gewartet habe ist die Wolle endlich angekommen gestern am Samstag den 16.05.Die Wolle fühlt sich sehr gut an ich hoffe das sie sich auch gut stricken lässt.
