So much better than a traditional printer BUT depends what you're printing for
I hate bulky clutter, I hate bloatware, and I hate pointless subscriptions. I love this portable thermal printer!!! I wish I learned these existed sooner. I love that I can stow this away when it's not in use, love that it barely takes up space to begin with, love that I don't have to keep buying expensive ink cartridges because they dried out, and love that I don't have to install some kind of subscription and additional software to print. I'll never go back to a traditional eyesore printer for home use.All that being said, I'm also just printing stuff for school or personal use like return slips! This printer is very easy to plug into my Macbook for printing (I know there's also a Bluetooth option, but I prefer to just plug it in to print). This printer meets my needs as a student, but my boyfriend likes to print cutouts for D&D. The paper this printer comes with is a bit flimsy and prone to curling, so it might not be ideal if you're printing for sturdy arts and crafts. I've bought additional paper that comes as a flat stack instead of a roll to avoid curling (and also because if you're printing multiple pages with the roll type, the printer's going to print all your pages like a long scroll unless you individually print each page lol), but I'd recommend being thoughtful about what your printing needs are before opting for a portable thermal printer like this. I don't need anything glamorous printed, just homework and application forms for the most part, so this works awesome for me!!

Portable, and Ink-Free
The media could not be loaded. The JADENS thermal printer is a fantastic choice for anyone who needs a reliable, compact black printer without the hassle ink free. It prints everything I need—assignments, labels, travel documents—using affordable thermal paper (just \$0.07/sheet). Setup took under 5 minutes with Bluetooth for my phone and USB for my laptop. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, with excellent battery life (up to 360 sheets per charge and 90 days standby). I love the adjustable paper size and crisp print quality. Support is responsive and helpful, too. Ideal for students, small businesses, and remote work!

Compact and low cost
This compact thermal printer is a great tool for mobile printing needs. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and doesn’t require ink, which makes it super convenient. Connecting via Bluetooth was straightforward, and the companion app worked smoothly. I’ve used it to print notes, shipping labels, and quick reference sheets—all came out clear and smudge-free. Definitely a practical option for students, travelers, or small business owners.

Absolutely Love It
No complaints here. The printer has been functioning well for me since I bought it, and the price wasn't bad at all. The noise doesn't really bother me, it is super easy to set up and portable. Will be buying from this seller again!

Super easy set up!
Printing quality is good and the set up is SUPER easy. Connects fast and long lasting charge. I pulled it out at the DMV to print a document needed (true story) and everyone was asking for the link cuz of the super fast and easy set up.

Does the job
Does what I wanted it to do.Device/System: iPhone/iOS. Connection: Bluetooth. App used: PrintGo.I wanted to try this because the ink in my other printer dries out (not runs out) all the time (I don't print enough), and 2 ink changes will cost more than this printer itself. This review is written on the first day I received the product and test printed a few pages. Will update if anything else comes up.*Print Quality*: it's pretty obvious that the outcome is thermal printed - not comparable to a laser or ink printer, which is expected. But good enough for what I needed it for. I only intended to use this for temporary stuff - forms I need to print, sign, and scan; shipping labels; etc. Definitely wouldn't use it for anything formal.*Ease of Use*: App is simple and user friendly. Instruction is clear and easy to follow. I know it only prints from certain apps and sources, namely a few social media apps, native photos, and the "files" folder on iCloud drive, but it's not a big problem for me - it's easy enough for me to save a copy of any file on the iCloud drive.*Other*: I test printed with the rolled letter-size paper. My complaint is that... it's hard to tear off the paper... The paper is a bit thick for the blade to cut off smoothly, I had to hold the paper very close to the blade to tear it off little by little, or else the paper will break. This makes the paper quite wrinkly when torn off - another reason I wouldn't use this to print anything formal.-------Edits after 8 months:The rolled paper eventually becomes a problem. Especially towards the end of the roll, it's rolled so tight and is too hard to flatten out.I switched to the folded paper. My only complaint with that is that the printer is not able to position the paper properly, and after printing a page it also doesn't stop the paper where it should start for the next print. As a result I have to reposition the paper manually before every print. This COULD be because I didn't use the Jadens branded folded paper, so that the printer isn't able to read the positioning marks on the back properly. I will try the branded paper next time and provide another update.Again since I'm not using it to print anything formal I don't need the paper position to be that perfect. The convenience of printing at home and saving on inks still makes this a good purchase.PS: one charge lasts a really long time...

Great thermal printer
Love this thermal printer. It was super easy to set up, it came with a roll of the printing paper and it is super compact so perfect for travel and small offices. Only downside is that the paper is thin and rolls, like fax paper, but that's easy to replace with thicker paper later on. The fact that we don't need ink is awesome!
