I ordered two pairs of Whitin shoes over a year ago. One pair was the dark gray with brown soles and the other was the off white. The off-white got dirty and wouldn't come clean, so they turned into old shoes. I walked every other day last summer and they were great on my feet. My right foot has a bunion and regular shoes don't fit me quite right anymore. I was excited to find the "hands-free" version of Whitin shoes! My original pairs were 8.5 (with the lighter color fitting a bit more snugly and slightly rubbed my bunion because of that). I went with the 9 and, while they are a bit big, my bunion is not rubbed and my toes have plenty of wiggle room. My hips are tight and flexibility is not great, so I love the fact that I can slip them on without hands and only occasionally have to fix the "tongue" part that gets stuck on my socks once in a while. My low socks don't even fall off like they did with the original style. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe. I am a preschool teacher and on my feet for a good portion of the day. The dark gray hides dirt and they dry rather quickly if they get wet.

I bought these shoes to wear as 'inside shoes' around the house and to change into when I go places because I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for months. I have very wide feet (a women's E width fits best) and I find these shoes perfectly comfortable! They're quite stretchy and flexible and my feet just have the space, plus the wide toe box gives my toes ample room. They've helped alleviate some of my plantar fasciitis and have convinced me that improperly fitting shoes have been part of the issue.BUT! My favourite feature of these shoes is the slip on. It's like the shoe has a built in shoe horn, so they pop on hands-free. The stiff back was somewhat irritating to my foot at first, but nothing like what I'm used to overcoming with a new pair of shoes. I typically blister the first few times I wear shoes, but accommodated to these quickly and without real blisters. I love these so much I bought two additional pairs so I could have a home pair, workout pair, and change into when I'm out pair. Definitely recommend, especially if you have struggled to find comfortable shoes for wide feet.

Comfortable breathable shoes, fit as expected, average price. Slip-on well without using your hands. Glad I found these shoes, it is hard to find zero-drop non-slip work shoes with a wide-toe box. I work in a kitchen and have good traction most of the time, but they can get slippery sometimes which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

These shoes can be put on hands free, just as advertised. If you are like me, you will like need to make a minor sock/upper adjustment, but they slide on really easily. They have laces on them, but I don't even need them. Not sure if they are just for looks or if they can make the shoe tighter if needed. I will say that there is a little foam cushion on the back that cradles the Achilles tendon, and I'm still a little mixed on how I feel about it. I haven't tested them on a multi-mile walk yet, but I think it should be fine, but this is where I took 1 star off for comfort. They have the nice wide toe box like other Whitin shoes, and I like that these don't have a patterned insole like the water/land shoes do.

I just had spinal surgery and these shoes have been a lifesaver!! Amazing feeling to be able to slide them on without assistance. I love how roomy the you're box is and that they look like normal lace up sneaker.they also have a removable insole, which has been super helpful for using my orthopedic shoe lift with minimal disconfort.

I was looking for wide toe casual shoes for better foot health. These are perfect! Very comfortable and they slide on easily.

Loved the color and the slip on concept. I really wanted these to work. I ordered my usual size 7 but they were too big and fit like huge clown shoes. They were also crazy wide all around. The wide toe box looked ridiculous. I ended up returning them and purchased a pair of Merrell Vapor 6 barefoot shoes, which are perfect.

These shoes are oh so simple and comfortable to wear. It’s impossible to break down the back as your foot slips in and the shoe gives the foot plenty of room to spread out your toes. I take a wide size and they fit perfectly. No need for expensive brand sneakers. Also very cute on the feet!
