bought on sale for just over $50 so the price was perfect to try these out. I liked the fact they had a zipper and the 8 inch height. Once i got them i first noticed the cool design and how good they looked. First time trying them on, instantly loved how they felt, very good cushion. I have now wore them to my job doing security but I bought them for yard work. So far they held up to a few construction projects, lawn care and hiking. Love these boots. I generally destroy boots in 3-4 months. Aging contractor in need of a light weight boot. Most don't hold up well even the $200+ dollar ones these are still going strong 6 months in. Super breathable but don't expect any waterproof what so ever. The zipper is amazing feature lace them up tight af once and slide in and zipper for those mornings your running late save 5 minutes lacing boots

I ordered these as I needed a good sturdy pair of outdoor shoes, both to use frequently, and have in case of emergency. I have wide feet and plantar fasciitis so finding a good pair of any type of shoe can prove challenging, especially for under $150. They are a bit heavy but I like the weight, and barely noticeable while using. I splashed water on them, took my dog for a walk, climbed stairs, and walked around my neighborhood with minimal discomfort, most likely from 'breaking them in'. I'm a size 8.5 wide in womens, so I ordered a size 7 wide since these are mens sizes. Can not beat this pair in terms of functionality, and especially price. They fit perfectly, nice and comfortable, water resistant if not waterproof. No issues with slip resistance on loose gravel and slight uneven ground. Haven't tested it on oil or slippery surfaces yet, but as someone has worked in the food industry for almost twenty years I doubt this will be an issue. Regardless of sex, I think these shoes are fantastic and well worth the purchase!

I am very impressed with the quality, comfort, light weight, i been using them for over 6 months now 4 days a week, for 13 hour shifts, best duty boots I've ever owned, and im telling you ive owned very known and expensive brands, none like these for the value, these were really unexpensive, would definitely buy again and strongly recommend.

I purchased these boots 3 months ago. They were very comfortable from the start. Amazingly they keep my feet dry, for a sweaty foot guy this was perfect! But the tread did not hold up. With just 3 months of wear on them there's already a hole in one heel. I know they were only $60 but was hope for at least 6 months. If you're not putting in 15-20 steps on multiple types of ground they might last you.

I normally don't wear anything but Skechers brand shoes but I needed some waterproof black boot types and I couldn't find anything I was satisfied with in their lineup.Decided to try these out because they checked all the boxes. They fit my wide feet comfortably and seem durable. The zippers don't feel cheap, haven't broken, and zip easily. I find them to be very comfortable for my feet but I know that's highly subjective. If you like the Skechers-esque fit then you might find these a good substitute too.I tried ordering another pair from this brand but didn't have quite the same experience with them so I'm not sure if the same can be said for all shoes but this boot in particular works very well for me.
