Combined with heavier gauge wire to provide voltage to high amp draw like a horn or high amperage lights, I can use a small wire to a switch. Several applications on my boat need this special wiring.

I liked that the relays did not have the mounting clips installed and that the sockets seem to be well made. I was a bit less thrilled with the interface between the relay body and where the terminals go in. The joint is tight, but there seems to be dirt or something right were the pin goes through the plastic. Its possible that its just discoloration from the insertion of the pins in the housing. It kinda looks like corrosion, but will not scrape off.The level connectors are interesting, but I'm still not sold on a this type of connection in a high current application.

This is a good set of relays. My favorite feature out of the box is that they have detachable mounting tabs. Some other relays have plastic that is molded to the relay to hold them on, these are metal and you can remove them.As with any automotive relay set, these fit very tight into their plugs. I think that’s nice because they don’t fall out. Beyond that they work as expected and the price is really good. I don’t really u Dee stand the little connectors that came with them, and there are no instructions. But I’ll figure out how to use them and I’m happy with the relays!

Bosch style relays with sockets and lever wire connectors. The mounting brackets can be installed pointing up or down for different mounting options. The plug-in sockets interlock together to mount several in a row if needed.The coils ohm out at about 79 ohms, which is the same as most other Bosch style relays. Current draw for the coils is about 0.12 to 0.13 amps. I measured 1.4 watts for the coil at 12VDC and 1.9 watts at 14.4VDC. Ran a relay for 24 hours strait at 14.4 volts DC with no problems.The relays plug into the connectors very securely.Does the job as expected. Would buy again.

At slightly more than $3 a set, these relays are a good buy. Not sure what is the difference is between the 30A and 40A rating, but either way great for my applications. I read somewhere the flip level connectors are rated for 32 amps. The data sheet for this relay rates the coil as 1.4 watts @12volts which matches the 120ma coil current I measured. Obvious cannot predict reliability at this point but the appear solid.

Great to get a pack of relays for random wiring projects on my vehicles. Most of this set will be used for installing a newer remote start/security system in my 99 F250. Haven't had issues the the couple I've already used.

Whoever put this kit together obviously uses the equipment. I use parts like these on our RV, and our solar equipment. The relays are rated for 12V, and draw 164mA (measured) to stay latched. It also includes a large selection of lever type connectors, which I really like.

I am happy with these relays. The price was awesome, and the wires are a good thick gauge. The relays fit the plugs securely with no chance of falling out. I like that the mounting tabs are included but not made into the relays, so using them is optional. I have only used one so far, I used it on a fuel pump that is used with my Aux fuel tank, and I could not be happier. I would buy them again. 5 STARS
