This is a FANTASTIC budget friendly way to get your punches, kicks, elbows, knees in, etc. We have limited space and this bag is thinner than others on the market but that is a great thing as it is easy to move around a room if you need to store it away each time. I am not a fighter but I spent years in an MMA gym daily mostly with Muay Thai hitting heavy duty bags, etc. My teen son wanted to get into bag work and I saw this and the good reviews and was immediately blown away. I got him this as a Xmas gift and he was surprised. The quality of the bag is very good and even with just water it is heavy enough for most people. If you are an extremely hard hitter, sand is your friend and the spring base will come into play. I can throw a solid hook and this thing along with the gloves hold up very well (with wraps on of course). It will even hold up to muay thai kicks for most people. Highly recommend this.

Good - Decent quality, easy assembly. Feels nice when you hit it. (came with adult boxing gloves)Bad - the fill hole at the base (for filling water or sand) leaks if you use the punching bag vigorously. I tried using plastic wrap to make the seal tighter, but it still leaks a little each time.

Wifey got me this for Christmas and I love it! We were a little confused on what to fill it with. So we checked out the reviews and saw that lots of people used sand! SHOUT OUT TO Ed for mentioning that you need FOUR BAGS of ALL PURPOSE SAND. BUT I had to make my own funnel because every funnel I had was too narrow at the bottom. So I included pictures of my own personal version of a sand funnel. The barcodes are for part identification. You can find these parts at any home improvement store(Lowes, Home Depot, Ace). Once we had that, the rest was smooth sailing. We love the included gloves. They can fit either of us. Me 6'5" 280 lbs her 5'6" ~160 lbs. Now I've hit this bag with a pretty heavy punch. It wobbles but it won't fall down. I also bought a office chair mat for the suction cups, that makes it even more sturdy.Be warned if you use sand it will make a mess. Before you start filling it, put down a tarp or mat to catch the excess sand. Then clean up is a breeze.I must say that we love this punching bag. It hasn't disappointed us at all

The product itself seems very durable and well put together. It took about 15 minutes to get set up, with the majority of that time coming from filling the base. However, I'm having two frustrating issues. The suction is not working on my concrete garage floor.. There is just no suction at all for some reason. Second, My punches are rocking the bag pretty solid and when it kicks back, there is definitely water leaking out of the blowhole each time. I wish it was a bit more airtight then that. I feel I have to hold back on my power as a result of these two issues. Enjoying the product though.
