The SXT1600 XL is the big brother of our SXT1000 Turbo. The differences are in the large, bulky tyres that give the scooter a larger and more massier appearance as well as in the "fireing" with extremely powerful 48 V batteries. The result of the higher operating voltage is the increase of the maximum travelable distance to say and write 30 km in ECO mode with the standard battery. The ECO mode is activated by activating the small red button on the rotary throttle handle. The scooter then runs with approx. 850 watts of throttled motor power and saves enormously in energy. Driving in ECO mode does not change at the maximum speed but it is achieved slower than when driving in full power mode as the engine works with throttled power as mentioned. If the scooter is powered exclusively at full power, you can achieve a maximum distance of 20 km and that with the standard battery. By converting to high-performance batteries, this distance can be increased enormously. With the power supply of the electric scooter, you have the choice between the standard 48 V 12 Ah lead acid battery, which has a range of approx. 20 km, the 48 V 20 Ah LiFePo4 lithium battery, which has a range of approx. 40 km and the 48 V 30 Ah Li-ion lithium battery, which has a range of approx. 60 km. The advantages of lithium batteries compared to the "normal" lead batteries are clear to obvious. On the one hand, the weight is only approx. Half the lead battery to the other, the battery capacity of 20 Ah / 30 Ah is much larger than that of the lead batteries with only 12 Ah, which leads to a much larger maximum range. Now many think everything well and beautiful but are immediately deterred by the price of the lithium batteries - this is to say that these batteries are only supposedly more expensive. As soon as you think of this, however, exactly...
