I love these clamps! For the price, they are excellent and do the job well while looking good in the process. :-)I tried some of the many plastic quick-release clamps that are out there and hated them all. They felt like they could break at any moment, and after reading reviews on the various offerings it turns out that is just what often happens.These aluminum clamps, on the other hand, may cost a bit more but they are well worth it. You can immediately feel the difference in strength and quality compared to the cheap plastic clamps. These clamps have proven to be sturdy and I've have no problems with them in the 6 months or so that I've had them. In fact, I liked them so much that I bought a second set.

These colors have a different design in the sense that they don't have a hinge. It's a one piece collar that expands when you pull open the lever, and tightens when you clamp it down. Once they're clamped, there's no chance they are going to slide even with heavy loads. They are solidly built and really look good too.

Very hard to slip these on and off of the barbell, feels very cheap and when I lock them on it does not feel totally secure. When I drop the barbell with them on they start slipping off and the plates start slipping off as well.

I am happy with my purchase and with the quality, fitment, and price!

They look good. Imitation Oso. Quality Control could be better. One was so loose that I can pull it off the sleeve when "tightened", the other was so snug that I have to pull it apart to get it on the sleeve.

I read reviews on these before I bought them, and some were disappointed because they broke early, and easily. So when I got them, I wondered why these reviews were written. Upon reflection, the cam handles are one way cams. If you push the cams the wrong way, and use enough force, they will break. If you pay attention to which way the cams close the gap tighten the grip of the collar, they won't break, and will most likely last forever. I gave them a four star rating because the manufacturer didn't make clear that the cams were one way cams, and which direction they closed. But they are great clamps. Also, I knocked a little off because they weren't quite large enough to use on my 7 foot barbell. I found they fit better on my EZ curl Bar and my dumbbell handles, and that's where I use them.

When I received the product I loved it. But when I used it maybe three times the latch lock broke due it not being aluminum like the rest of it. If the latch lock was made better I would have gave it a much higher review.

Bought them when Coop from Garage Gym Reviews made fun of them while using them in his video in which he dropped 800 lbs. on the cheapest Amazon rack he could get. Right before they dropped the weight, he put these collars on the bar and he made fun of them for being so cheap. The collars then proceeded to hold the plates on the bar after the drop and he was impressed. That was enough for me. They do an admirable job holding plates on the bar and are easy to lock and unlock.

Doesn't fit a 2 Inch Olympic Barbell. So disappointed
