This is a great pen. Here's what I was looking for: Something not too expensive, I could use in a professional setting, and would write with quality ink without blotting or getting spotty. Five stars on all accounts. It looks every bit is nice as the finer pens like Mont Blanc, without the price tag. One of my better purchases this year from Amazon.

The polished barrel really makes it slippery and putting in the cheapest refill is a slap in the face. A Schmidt P900M is reliable and dependable but at the cost of the pen dragging on the paper. It’s like walking with boots on in the sand. It makes writing, which is the main job of the pen, horribly slow and requires more effort. Scriveiner saved $.50 cents to not get a better refill. The good news is you can simply swap out the refill, which I would suggest buying one when you buy this pen, just watch out on Amazon for people selling old stock refills or fake refills. Upgrade your refill and buy a Schmidt P9000M or UNI Jetstream SXR-700-07 if you want to turn this pen into an absolute beauty to write with. My main complaint is the polished barrel is such a dumb idea- it makes the part you hold completely slippery. Even with the smoothest refill, you still have to grip the slippery pen barrel that much tighter. It’s a beautiful pen but made more for aesthetics than function. I’m not saying don’t buy it, it’s a good pen for the price, just take these things into consideration. I think Scriveiner should’ve paid the extra few pennies to have the pen come with a decent refill to make the writing experience more enjoyable. One final complaint is that it’s top-heavy, which adds to the difficulty writing with this thing. The weight should be in your hand, not swinging above your hand, making it off balance. It’s a good-looking pen but falls short in terms of usability. It’s great as a signature pen and as a gift. Get it engraved but also get the recipient a better refill like the Schmidt P9000M or the Uni Jetstream SXR-600-07 to make this a really nice gift.

Beautiful pen! Very elegant, has a nice weight to it, and writes very smoothly. I love it! Great customer service too by Scriveiner. I was amazed at how fast the pen shipped even though personalization was requested. They were very responsive and kind when I had a question. 5 stars all around! I know I will be ordering more as gifts. :)

I write at work all day and my good pen wasn't refillable. I like a good, heavy metal pen and this one did not disappoint. It is the right weight and thickness. Writes smoothly, ink dries quickly. Comes with one refill. My only complaint is because it's a twist top and top refill it you have to twist it you can twist too far when opening it, especially when you fiddle with it a lot like I do.

La penna è davvero bella sia nel colore che nella fattura della penna stessa, ma quello che mi ha impressionato è la fluidità di scrittura, il colore dell'inchiostro di un bel nero e la continuità del tratto. Veramente notevole sembra quasi una roller. Un ottimo acquisto al giusto prezzo vista la qualità, Scriveiner, davvero un gran bel marchio.
