SMILING WORM - FORMULA 4 POTTING MIX: This blend has been developed for bonsai. It may be mixed with other soils or used on its own. We have created a unique blend of 4 organic peat-free ingredients, to keep your plants healthy: 1. Washed and moisture retentive cocopeat with natural rooting hormones. 2. Silica rich heat-treated rice hulls. Silica has been shown to encourage cell development in roots and stems. Rice hulls are the organic alternative to Perlite. They encourage good drainage and unlike Perlite, they do not tend to rise to the surface of the soil over time. 3. Fine grade coco husk chips to retain air and nutrients in the soil and 4. Coco husk shell charcoal for good drainage. The result of this blend is that the soil is lightweight, open texture, sweet and healthy. This product is available in volumes from 1.5 Quarts to 15 Quarts.
