2-Pack 20oz Ceramic Meal Mugs with BPA-Free Vented Lids, French White

We have had a couple of these for a while and love how they work to both transport and heat up soup. They do not leak, and have pressure release built into the lid. Occasionally, the soup would stain the lid, but there was no smell or taste connected to it. The mugs just kept working. Eventually the lids wore out, and purchased this two pack to have more working lids. Just as before, these mugs just work. Other soup mugs just don't seal as well as the CorningWare ones. The lids fit tightly, the mugs are hefty and sturdy, and the pressure release works (if one remembers to pop it open). These mugs are a little more that some others that are one the market, but they seal better and last longer. Best mugs for soup we have found, and highly recommended.

Fantastic for soup, stew, casserole on the run. Sturdy, vent lid ideal, attractive and good for the microwave. I have given this as a gift to coworkers who have loved it.

I am loving these. Used them for casseroles, omelettes, mug cakes, and more alternating between a 2L Dezin hot pot and the microwave in my hotel room during a recent 20 night stay in a hotel room. The lids were good and tight, sealed beautifully. They are huge at 20 ounce capacity, but great for ramen, marinating chicken. They were fun to play with. Heavy on days when my hands hurt, but having a handle makes it easier.

Excellent size for coffee, soup, soufflé, individual gratin, and multiple uses, the handle only fits two fingers with thumb on top and is painful for such a large mug when it is full, I wish to fit all or most fingers for early morning coffee! This would be much much easier and comfortable.

It's very confusing..Microwave/Oven safe or no? There are two contradicting symbols on the mug: 1 is microwave (MW) safe, the symbol that is circled by me looks like it's either not MW safe or not suitable for oven. However, there is also an oven proof symbol. Material feels lighter, cheaper, thicker than the original one made in Thailand.. The Thailand is cooled to the touch, this one feels warm. New cup looks bigger yet smaller interior (hold a bit less liquid than original) I ran 1 cup water in both test to see if water is warm while mug is cool and they are both really warm. So performance is abt the same. I searched for no broiler symbol and couldn't find any match for it either. No idea what that symbol mean. Lid said it is freezer n microwave safe but I haven't tried.

Good for soup. Lid fits tight, with a vent. Good product. Made heavey. Use them in the microwave. Don't like using plastic in the microwave, so these work well for me.

This takes me right back to my childhood when my parents had nothing but Corning where. Beautifully crafted very tough and durable. Love it and you will love it too.
