Myco Labs Cordyceps Militaris Mushroom Grow Kit | Large 2 Quart Spawn Bag Kit | Ready to Grow!

This was my first time growing cordyceps mushrooms. I don't think you can get an easier kit than this one. When I first received it, the bag was almost 70% colonized and had a bunch of different weird colors in the bottom. I just let it sit and in about 2 weeks the entire bag was a nice off-white color, with orange tint. I started adding light about 12 hours a day and then about 7-10 days later tiny bumps appeared and those grew into the 1-2 inch mushrooms. I was pretty good with opening the bag once a day and misting the inside when the mushrooms started to grow, I could tell this helped. This is a great kit for anyone wanting to grow cordyceps and I was surprised how many I got!

I'm a professional mushroom grower. I bought three of these kits because I thought it would be good to add cordyceps to my small mushroom farm without having to add additional materials that are unique to cordyceps. All three blocks I purchased failed. I tried to reach out to the seller multiple times via their support email and phone number. None of my contacts were ever returned. I've had previous experience with this vendor purchasing directly from their website as well and their customer service is notoriously awful. This is my last purchase from them.

I have been playing around with different Cordyceps growing kits for awhile and this kit is by far the easiest and grows at least 10 times more mushrooms than any other kit I've tried. Mine took about 3 weeks to start growing. I just cut the bag and misted it gently and they kept growing. I harvested them when they were about 3-4" high and looks like I am getting another batch coming in! This bag style kit is a steal! It's really the way to go for growing these! Highly recommended! 5 stars!

My box did not work out as expected. The block was fully colonized but started to contaminate almost immediately as I put it into fruiting conditions. I have also never had fungus gnats until this bag. I am not a novice either.

I've been growing mushrooms for a few years and have had alot of luck with several species but the 3 times I've gotten this product I couldn't even get the bag to fully colonize. I have no idea what they mean when they give the times on the bag because no way it's colonizing as fast as they say. I waited for several before writing a review to ensure it wasn't the 1 kit or a mistake I was making.

So the first bag never colonized, so I contacted the company and they were very good and fixed the issue quickly. My second and third bags are doing great!!! Clear instructions, super easy.

Great product

Mine turned green before growing anything. I have several blocks of lion's mane and oysters growing perfectly in a North Spore tent. This one just turned green and never grew.
