When I first opened these, I was so disappointed because they look extremely cheap with a huge nut on the scissors. Just a general cheap presentation. I decided that since I’ve already got them and my dog needs a little trim to at least give it a try before I completely judge based on a semi-crappy appearance. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are nice and sharp; the cut is smooth and even. I am certainly no professional. I purchased to groom my own Yorkie. This should make it pretty easy. I threw the crummy plastic scissor sleeves away and just slipped them in the elastic loops or pockets. Worth the price and I would recommend and purchase again.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the good quality of these tools.I am constantly using various scissors to groom my dogs (thick, long coats; Labradoodles) they require regular grooming and touch ups in between. I have to trim the hair between their toes to keep foxtails away.Normally, I grab any old scissor because I use good clippers for the major work and scissors as needed.Once I opened this package and examined the included tools packed neatly into a nice case, I was impressed. Still, the time I realized what a good product this was is the first time I used them on my dogs! Incredible feel and sharpness!I accidentally ordered 2 complete sets and planned to return the extra but now I am very glad that I made this mistake because I now have good scissors to use when cutting hair for my family.I highly recommend!

Beautiful packaging thought I had a winner, but the scissors are not very sharp

I can only provide a 5 star rating but in reality, this is a great product and the price is outstanding. The little guy grows very thick curly hair and actually appears to be a sheep dog. Taking him to the groomer monthly is costly. Now I have the best tools to ensure no matting and self-grooming for me is a huge money saver. I can only say thank you for providing a great product that is a proven money-saver and of the highest quality.

This little kit is working out great for grooming my dog at home. I think it was an awesome value for the price! I love that this set came with the curved scissors and the tiny ones with a blunt edge so I can get around her eyes. I spent a lot of time looking through all the different options and sets. I'm glad I did, this one is perfect for what I needed. We're saving so much money grooming at home now too!

These scissors have been a nightmare for me. Mostly they are not sharp at all. They tug at my guy’s hair then he becomes a problem to clip. I live in a very small town and no one sharpens scissors. I have to wait till I go to the big city I guess n

Because our Maxine doesn't like to be fussed over and prettied up, although she definitely needs it once in a while, we decided to groom her ourselves. The scissors are sharp, making trimming a quick chore, which is necessary for Maxine's tolerance level. The fingerholes are comfortable, the case is well made, as is the comb. The grooming guide e-book was extremely helpful and I'm very glad I decided to purchase this set.

I'm very happy about the sharpness of the scissors. You can tighten them up to get that perfect cut. The blunted ones are great for around the eyes and ears. The curved ones are also great for around the face.I would definitely recommend.

Having 3 Rough Collies and using various grooming tools through the years, I was pleasantly surprised to find how well these scissors worked! The price was "right" and the results were more than I expected...the various sizes of the scissors made me less nervous since the tools were used for various "body fur" parts! Have had Collies and Shelties for more than 30 years, , the realization you CAN groom yourself is comforting! Great price, great product, great company!

I bought this set because I can't get to my two dogs into the groomer because of the corona virus pandemic, they cut better than any standard scissors I have tried.
