Nothing MIRACULOUS, but a Decent Product for a Decent Price. Smells Good & No Muss, No Fuss
I've seen a million commercials for this product lately, so — I'll admit it — I'm a sucker and I immediately had to try it out. After using it for a few weeks (not every night, but about twice a week), I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. This Miracle Sleeping Cream is quite a MIRACLE, but it's a decent product that I'll probably repurchase in the future. I have a complicated multi-product anti-wrinkle skincare regimen that I do on most nights, but for lazy nights when I'm tired and just want to slap something all over with no muss, no fuss, this product is exactly what I reach for.The texture is unique — somehow spongy and creamy at the same time — and it's just a very light moisturizer that's quick and easy to apply. I rub it all over my face and neck, including my eyes, and I'm done. Takes about five seconds. Then, in the morning, I wake up with hydrated and very soft skin. I would suggest washing your face in the morning (or at least using a makeup wipe) if you don't plan on taking a shower, because I have noticed that it leaves a thin film on my face (nothing gross, but you can definitely still feel it on you if you touch your face).Basically, it's a pretty good product for a cheap price. I don't think that this will do anything incredible for me when it comes to its anti-aging claims, but I think it's a good option for lazy nights or people who want to do SOMETHING, but not put a whole lot of effort into nighttime skincare.

Good Moisturizer for the Price
I recently reached my 30s and decided that my old face routine (scrubbing my face with bar soap, moisturizing whenever I remembered) was probably not a good strategy for the next 30 years. I decided to get a night cream, a proper facial exfoliator, and a strong daily sunscreen.I was deciding between this product and the RoC night cream. Although the Roc is in roughly the same price range and also has glowing reviews, I was a bit anxious because it contains retinols, which can enhance sun sensitivity. (There is a version for sensitive skin, which is the one I would probably have gotten) Since I'm not always the greatest about remembering to put on sunscreen, I decided that a better option was to try this cream. I've also been happy with Garnier products in the past. This cream is inexpensive compared with others in its class. (Other formulas cost upwards of $20, and the truth is, nothing has been clinically proven to reverse aging. My goal was less to "reduce" fine lines than to ideally moisturize my skin and keep from developing more. For that purpose, it didn't seem worth it to me to spend major $) I've been using it every evening for several days now, and although I can't say I notice a pronounced effect, I will say that the combination of my improved skin routine has definitely given me a more glowing complexion. I feel great about the way my skin looks on a regular basis. Although I've always had decent skin, of late, it does seem to be a lot more vibrant. The cream's texture can be a bit off-putting initially. It has almost the exact same color and texture as Elmer's glue, and is odorless. That said, it only goes on at night, so it hardly matters what it looks like. I massage it in a few hours before bedtime, and it's worked well for me so far. Give it a try if you're interested in a less pricey night moisturizer.

Pleasantly Surprised Considering Price Point
I wish I could give 4.5 stars. I'm in my late 30s with some fine smile lines, this does not make them go away. Let's be honest, you need a filler or some dermatologist work for that. What it does do though is soften them and make my skin more radiant which works to decrease the look of them. I'm on my second jar now and am happy with what I'm paying for. I wash my face every night, tone, use a serum, then follow up with this and an eye cream (this is the only Garnier product I use in my routine). I have sensitive combination skin and it does have kind of a burn feel to it, but it doesn't make me break out, peel, or turn red and it's not painful at all. I've had the same feeling using other antioxidant products. My skin soaks this in without being greasy and it started to feel noticeably softer after about a week. This has worked better for me than the department store brands (Clinique & Estee Lauder) I love so much, and I had originally only bought this on a whim, but now will keep using it in my other brand's place (but sill use the rest of those brand's make-up and other products). Sidenote, it does kind of have an odd smell, but not enough to bother me and I'd rather have results than to smell like a lovely flower. Not a full 5 stars because I hate when water is a first ingredient.

Makes a difference in my 10-step evening skin care routine
The media could not be loaded. My skin: Normal to dry skin and not sensitive. One day, my sister came up to me and gave me this product because it broke her out. This product will probably clog your pores if you are acne prone, have sensitive skin, or are sensitive to fragrance. While the smell is not strong, there is an artificial sweet perfume smell when I put my nose up to the jar. However, I liked it so much that I continued to purchase and use it after the first bottle. This night cream has a "sticky" formula and moves like a viscous liquid if you tilt the jar.My steps are oil cleanse, face wash, toner or mist, serum, regular eye cream, night eye cream, anti wrinkle treatment, facial oil, night cream (Garnier SkinActive). When I introduced this to my evening routine, it helped to completely erased my 3 huge forehead lines in conjunction with my anti wrinkle treament. Although the ingredients list isn't as clean/organic as the expensive skincare lines, it has a desirable effect for me. Occasionally, I can get away with being lazy and skipping 5 steps and looking decently moisturized the next morning.I only need a little bit to do the job: about half of the size of a pea. Because I use a multitude of products, one jar of Garnier SkinActive night cream can last me as long as 4 months. This night cream is a great value for me, especially after factoring in the affordable price point.
