Useful on a broad scale
A tidal atlas is essential for sailing the Thames Estuary, especially in a dinghy.This is set out in hours before and after HW: a simple calculation gives the times which I then write on bits of sticky paper on each page.It's publication date is irrelevant; tidal atlases last a long time.It gives no local detail for the estuaries.You'll need local harbour websites for that.
