This drive replaced a slower and older drive for a Ubuntu Linux computer. installed out of the box without any problems or issues. Has good boot times. The long term reliability is unknown, but it was a good buy for about 20.00

So far so good, working great

This storage came with the displayed specs and I have had no issues with it since purchase. At the time purchased it was a very cheap storage solution given the prices as of late.

These drives are, in my opinion, fake capacity. I purchased four of the 4TB models for a build and immediately started running into disk issues. At first I assumed it was something else in my setup, so I went through extensive troubleshooting across multiple systems and hardware configurations before narrowing it down to the drives themselves. I tested these on a Raspberry Pi, a Windows desktop, and other Linux systems. I also swapped cables, USB-to-SATA adapters, and verified power and controller behavior. Other drives worked perfectly in the exact same setups, but these did not. The behavior was extremely inconsistent. The controller would report wildly incorrect capacities—sometimes showing the full 4TB, other times only a few gigabytes, megabytes, or even 0 bytes. The disks would randomly disappear from the OS, reinitialize, and occasionally come back with a different reported size. System logs showed repeated errors during normal operation. I also ran read/write tests. Performance would start out normal, but once the drive was about 50% full, write speeds dropped significantly (down to ~70 MB/s) and became unstable. The issues followed the drives regardless of system or adapter, which rules out environment problems. At best these are severely defective; at worst they are misrepresenting their true capacity. I would not trust these drives with any data.

Got the unit today. I formatted in a Atomos Ninja Ultra and then had to go into file exploper (PC) and give the card access. Once done, I was able to copy a 4k 422 10bit file of 57Gb. It transfered quickly and played back without the hitch. Placed into the Ninja with a Lumix BGH1 at 4k 60p and card could not, did not and cannot record. The card sent a warning to the Ninja, 'compressed resolution to 720p. I switched to my standard set up: 4K DCI vLOG 24P, 422 / 10 bit and record for two hours and 11 minutes. Card never quit. Played back and perfect. Let's hope this card has legges.

Very nice and durable drive. I installed it into my all in one computer in only minutes. It is FAST! I'm purchasing another one for my laptop because it impressed me. Great price!

It does not include a Sata cable.

if you have the mechanical drives you will love this Upgrade to your system, I use external drive to save files, so just loading App on this 1TB was all I needed in side the Machine

Reçu super rapidement ce petit ssd de 256go fait parfaitement le taf pour donner une seconde jeunesse à une vieille machine ou un vieux pc portable en remplacement d un vieux disque dur mécanique Installation simple clonage ou installation propre sans souci les débits en lecture écriture sont conformes aux attentes pour du sata iii et le pc boote en quelques secondes maintenant Bref super rapport qualité prix pour redémarrer une config à petit budget je recommande sans hésiter
