Clear guide to South Africa
It is not clear when I'll go, but this book has prepared me for that eventuality in seeing the beautiful nation at the bottom of Africa. It has very explanatory paragraphs and practical advice. I only wish it had embedded photos in order to see what it is discussing

Excellent Guide to South Africa
I reviewed 5 or 6 options for South Africa travel guides, and found the Fodor's guide to be the best for our SA trip. Very happy we got it!

Great for First Time Visitors
I have booked a safari but want to visit other places in the country but no idea where to go. After reading the book I now have a good idea where I want to go. The book also covers the subtle things like safety, tipping, health, transportation, etc.

A great travel book for South Africa

I buy a Fodor's for every destination. It's always spot on. I wish they had more restaurant and hotel recommendations
