You need to let a pound cake sit on a wire rack for about 10 to 15 minutes before removing it from the pan. If you let it cool in the pan, it would likely get sweaty the longer it sat. Also, even though this is a non-stick pan you need to spray with "Bakers Joy" or grease the pan and dust it with flour. I use granulated sugar in place of the flour and it adds a touch of sweetness to the crust. Hope this helps.

Has anyone experienced cakes sticking to the pan after baking more than 50 cakes?

You can't let your cakes cool in the pan no more than 10 to 15 minutes, otherwise the cake can reseal itself to the pan and stick badly. REMOVE PROMPTLY AFTER 10-15 MINUTES!!!!!!!

What I have been looking for, for years.

It took about 3 weeks to reach Sweden as it was shipped from US. But the wait was worth it. Very good cakepan, non stick and extremely high quality. This is the kind of pan (quality wise) that my parents bought 30 years ago. I didn't know I could find such today, and Nordic Ware provided that. I recommend the pan to anyone who wants to bake a cake to perfection without having to worry about your cake sticking on the pan.
