Good for displaying your guitar but awkward to use
I used this Woddies hanger to mount a guitar vertically on the wall.Good points - (1) Holds the guitar securely with minimal movement. This was my main objective as I don't want my daughter and her friends messing with it, causing it to fall on them. (2) You can mount the guitar at any angle.Bad points - (1) The price - all you get for your money is two plastic brackets and a few fixings (2) It's quite fiddly to get the guitar off the hanger. (The bracket at the back of the guitar is very stiff.) This may get easier with use but at the moment it is a real pain. (3) The brackets are only `invisible' when you look at the guitar face on. If you happen to fix the guitar on a wall adjacent to a doorway (as I did), you can clearly see the top bracket and the screws used to mount it (because the plastic brackets are transparent). (4) You have to be careful to make sure that the brackets don't rub the paintwork (I had to use the leather strap button washer supplied to prevent the base of the guitar from making physical contact.) I had no problem with the top bracket though. In conclusion - These brackets allow you the mount SG-style guitars securely to the wall at pretty much any angle you wish but when you factor in the cost and difficulty to use, you are probably best only getting these hangers to display guitars that you don't play very often.

Good with adjustment
Handy hanger, shows the guitar off well. However the back block is too shallow for a Gibson SG. I had to put in a spacer piece between the block and the wall, otherwise the headstock is placed under pressure and with time I think could warp the neck.If it was 6mm deeper it would take into account the slightly swept back angle of the head stock and not force the machine heads against the wall.Never had this problem with the other brackets used on my Strat.

work great but to over price
i had no problem setting it up or using it, however it is very over priced as its just two bits of plastic.

Five Stars
These are magic bits of kit especially on a narrow boat where space is at a premium.

Works but overpriced for what it is.
This item comes in a small box and when it arrived I was sure something had broken in the box as it sounded just like broken glass or crockery etc. For your outlay you get 2 plastic brackets, 3 screws & 3 rawlplugs and a minimal set of instructions though there's not much to installing it. Biggest challenge is figuring out the angle you want to hang the guitar at. You'll need someone to hold the guitar while you mark where to place the brackets but once that's sorted, it's a relatively easy process to drill the requisite holes & attach the brackets. However, being plastic I wouldn't risk using them with anything other than a 'basic' lightweight guitar to be on the safe side.

Not convinced this will last very long
I think this is a great idea, a 'hidden' guitar hook but I just don't trust it.The plastic feels flimsy and really does not feel particularly secure with my Epiphone SG hanging in it.This model is designed for a guitar with a strap button on the heel facing backwards and comes with a particularly bendy plastic bracket to fit at the bottom under the guitar which actually just gives me the heebeejeebees when I leave the guitar hanging.....so much so I took it down to be honest.

Well made and secure, but a bit expensive for what they are.
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. These hangers are made from a tough, transparent plastic and come with decent fixings suitable for most wall surfaces. They are not visible in use, I found them to be quite secure, and you can hang your guitar at any angle you wish.At £14.99 for a single hanger I thought they were rather expensive, given that they are just plastic.
