Mirafit 6mm Natural Cork Yoga Mat

I have had this for about 3 weeks now. I wanted a cork mat, but the other options were too expensive for my budget, so I was happy to find this one and decided to give it a try. It arrived quicker than the expected date, which was nice. It comes rolled up in plastic, and I can definitely agree with other reviewers that the smell after you take it out was overwhelming and disturbing. However, after having it for about a week, the smell was mostly gone, and now after three weeks even in positions close to the mat I cannot smell anything anymore. So, if that is a concern, I definitely wouldnt worry about it too much. The second concern I found on here is that the mat does not stay down properly. I can say that I also had the issue with the mat, and in the beginning it did annoy me a bit - it was not enough to keep you from practicing, or to really throw you off, but the matter stubbornly stayed this way for a while. However, again, as of writing this the mat has accepted its fate and lost the bend - its not completely flat on the ground. I have to say that I keep the mat unrolled most of the time, so that probably helped a lot, and I would definitely recommend it in the beginning. Now, how is the mat overall? I have to say that, for the price, I am quite happy with it. I am just starting to begin yoga, but I feel like the mat is grippy so that I wont lose my footing, deals with sweat relatively quickly, and just overall has a nice and quality touch to it that I prefer over the feeling of plastic. I cant vouch for the "naturalness" behind it (other people have written more about this here), but I do feel its probably at least a little step up from the normal plastic yoga mats we are used to. It also looks excellent - its a very simple design, but looks and feels well made to me. Again, three weeks of doing different things with it, and I have also yet to discover any visible greases or folds in the mat. Overall, for this price, I can definitely recommend it, if you have a little patience with the smell and fold. I am very happy so far.

Used every day for two months and this mat has been a game changer. For a heavy yoga lad, the extra thickness really helps especially on the knees. Showing a little sign of 'polish' but the quality is great and the cork remains intact despite heavy use. Had an issue with the delivery at first as returned, but queried with seller and resolved and new one sent quickly - definitely recommend.

I've had this mat for a couple of months now and use it every morning for a combination of calisthenics and yoga. I was initially disappointed when I first received the product as the cork top seemed very thin (less than 1mm) but it is very hard wearing and looks as good as the day I bought it. The base material is non-slip on my wooden floors and offers sufficient padding to be comfortable but still firm. Overall this is an excellent mat and I'm very happy with it. For the eco conscious my only criticism is the single use plastic wrapper it arrived in.

I really like this brand. They’re based in my home town and my local gym uses their equipment, so I had no doubt it the quality. That being said, I was still impressed. It’s a really good quality cork mat with a lot of cushion. Very comfortable to collapse on after a hard workout!

The price of this mat is really really reasonable! I purchased 1. Now I have purchased another 10 for my studio. Looking at some of the previous review about it smelling like glue or not lying flat. These things rectify quite quickly when you get the mat out and into the world. It's a great mat, good grip, looks smart, durable when people are sticking there long toenails and finger nails into the mat. This is cheap for the product that is provided. Awsome :)

Good product, comfortable cork board for yoga. Does need to be left out to unfurl for a few days to stop the mat curling at the ends. Other than this no complaints!

Starting yoga to recover from a neurological issue and went with Mirafit as I used this brand for weights already. The cork surface is really comfortable and the mat rolls out well. Just hope the cat doesn’t find it.

Il materassino lo trovo assolutamente stabile e a piedi nudi e per le mani la presa e ottima ,è ovvio però che all'inizio è molto duro e da arrotolato tiene tanto la piega..però e molto bello

Dopo mesi dal mio acquisto, questo tappetino non ha ancora perso la forma, tanto da non stendersi e rimanere piegato alle estremità. Il materiale è rigido e non si ammorbidisce rendendolo piuttosto scomodo per la pratica.

Ottimo prodotto di ottima qualità

PREGI: ottimo materiale, leggero, non si scivola. DIFETTI: non rimane totalmente disteso ma tende ad arrotolarsi, rendendo completamente impossibile la pratica.
