Q: The male pins of this cable look to be square - will the male mate to a female with round sockets?

I don't recall the shape of the pins causing any issues mating with a female socket with round pins...I did however use a plastic cable tie arrangement I constructed to keep the connection tight at all time for proper contact so maybe the shape played a part...not sure...I just needed to be sure I had a solid connection between the male and female connectors to avoid hum being generated from my speakers and pulling the connection tight via cable ties did the trick.

Q: Does this work with the cinemate 130?

This is an extension cable that will extend the length of any of the small 9 pin Bose cables.

Q: Can i use this for my bose soundtouch 130?

i know this works great for my 535 series 3 but for the 130 i cant' answer that. i am not sure what ends are on that?

If the cable is the small 9 pin version then it will extend the reach by 6 ft.
