The small size is really the only reason I held back a star. It is *very* difficult to see the details, given the size of the hoops. For this reason, these are definitely more appropriate for women/girls.

These little earrings are nicely made, with no obvious defects, and feel sturdy enough for their size. Be aware, however, of just how small they actually are. At only 5/8" in diameter, and 1/8" wide, they're so tiny that the Egyptian-themed designs on them can only be seen upon very close inspection. They're really only suitable for a small child, or someone who is going for a minimalist look in jewelry. If that works for you, go for it; if not, look for something larger.
