A fine watch but picture is wrong
I like this watch but the picture is wrong. The hands and numerals are not white as shown. I almost returned it but decided to try it for a few days. Now I prefer it to the white version. It's not quite as easy to read as I think the white would be but it is readable and it looks better than white.

not a good watch.
It's a nice watch but was returned as soon as I got it. Not a fair option if you want a working unit, very frustrated.

Thick case!
A very interesting and handsome watch. The day, date, month display is clever... innovative. Unfortunately, the case is a thick, 13mm (that's OVER ½") - 'clock on the wrist' style. I couldn't learn to accept it and sent mine back after a day's use. Soo, only 3-Stars from me, but if your tolerance is greater, or wrists (much) larger, this could be a 5-Star watch for you, and at the price ($59 today) it has no competition.

No fault of the seller
I agree somewhat with "Hard to read" review but disagree with his rating. Remember this is a watch not a wall clock. Something on the face is bound to be hard to read at some given time due to hand position. This is an amazing piece of technology for the price. Mine cost $89.00 and the price went down the day after I ordered it. All that need be done with this Timex is occasionally adjust the time and not that often. The day, date and month are always there. I own a couple of Citizen perpetuals in the $300.00 range and to read the month you have to do some button pushing to make the second hand indicate the current month. The problem if I may call it one with this Timex is the chrome hands over the black face. The hour and minute hands have a slight bevel which tends to reflect the black face of the dial making the hands look black as well making the time hard to read regardless of position unless you rotate your wrist to catch the right angle and ambient light. I wear this one in the daytime. It's impossible to read at night. The Indiglo feature cures that problem although I don't use it often.I live in a humid climate and swapped the band for an inexpensive silicone clasp type so that I don't ruin the leather band. I'll swap again when the weather turns cooler. If you want an easier to read Timex perpetual they also make one just like the T2N502 but with a white face (T2N503) and yet another white face with stainless steel mesh band (T2N571DH) for less than $100.00. I purchased this one as well.

Functional and attractive
I discovered after purchase that "intelligent quartz" refers to its ability automatically set the month/date/day. Nice feature. I did catch the stem on my shorts and pulled it completely out. Watch was dead, but I brought it back from the brink after reinserting the stem. Not a plus or minus. Just a comment. Indiglo works as it has years in Timex watches.******************Edit 1/10/15I discovered that the battery can be changed, but that the perpetual calendar cannot be restarted by the owner. For $10, I sent the watch back for battery replacement around June 2014. Also, the Indiglo no longer worked. After several weeks with no updates from Timex/servicer, I got a watch in the mail. I say "a" watch as it was not mine, but a brand new one. I was pleasantly surprised. Then in December 2014, I caught the stem and broke it off. The watch did not stop this time, but was no longer usable as there was no way to set the time. I did not catch the watch on anything hard. It was the edge of a curtain!! As of this review, I am mixed. I enjoy the watch, but I do not believe I will reboard the Timex train. Perhaps I will flip a coin... Most likely I will buy a different watch and perform a brief funeral service for my Timex. Not really upset with Timex, but I do believe two broken stems evidences a structural flaw.

Didn't last 3 months
It looks great, but after less than 3 months it simply stopped working! There were no accidents of any kind. I'm hoping to have it fixed.
