Stun Guns for Men for Women Self Defense,Rechargeable Stun Baton Flashlight (Black)

This baton will come in handy, but hopefully not too handy, for my wife on her evening walks and when working alone at night in our tiny house that she is building. It is light enough to carry without strain, but I'm guessing it weighs almost two pounds. The company says 19.4 ounces, but that must be without the batteries. Not super lightweight, but that's really not the point of this baton. It's 18" long.It's easy to set up. You get a pair of rechargeable batteries with a charger that plugs in. The initial charge took a couple of hours. Then, insert them in the bottom and screw on the cap. Press the button at the end and the green light goes on. Press the green light for your flashlight operation. First push is bright, second is dimmer, third is strobe and the fourth push gives you a siren type light from the white band near the top. The next push turns off the light.The stun feature sparks up when you push the red button. You have to keep your finger on the red button to get the spark. When you release the red button, the spark stops. It was hard to photograph, but the stun feature is loud and bright and looks a lot like a cattle prod. The red button engages with the flashlight on or off.When you're done, press the end button to turn off. I'm not sure if there is an automatic off feature after minutes of non-use, but I don't think there is. Of course, we can't try the stun gun on a person or animal to see how high they jump. I don't know how powerful the zap is, but I do know just a warning crackle is likely to deter an aggressive dog or a would be mugger. The instruction manual says this has "ultra votage (sic)" of 100,000 kv. A kilovolt is 1000 volts, and I am pretty sure this baton won't deliver a 100 million volt shock. Yes, I'm a bit skeptical of their numbers. My hope is that we never have to find out how powerful the stun is.I like the siren type light that you get on the fourth push of the light feature. I don't think the flashlight is really 2000 lumens, but it is strong enough to let you see where you are going. We live on a fairly busy road and the light will make her very visible to drivers. So, thumbs up as a multi purpose device and a welcome item for self defense. Recommended.

The Flashlight isn’t working

When the item arrived, first the batteries were completely dead. I charged them and the item still didn't work. Turning on the safety switch on the back of the light illuminated the buttons green/red, but still nothing as far as light or shock effect. After this, I removed the batteries and inspected the wiring in the front of the unit. The soldering joints were extremely poor and one wire had come disconnected. I resoldered that connection and now the stun/shock feature works, but the light still does not. If this product can't even survive shipping I would never trust it an an emergency, and even now it still has no light function unless I want to tear apart the amateur soldering/wiring job to find the fault.

I checked this out specifically to make sure everything Worked, and it does. It is Everything it claims to be. The 4 lights function flawlessly. In Fact the Flashlight is so bright it will hurt your eyes in a pitch dark room (where I tested it), I pressed the Red Button and it Sounded like it was electrifying, but I did not touch myself with it! It also has some heft to it, if you got hit with it you would feel it. Even though they don't recommend hitting anyone with it. Overall I am very satisfied.

This thing is super nice, it has a bright spotlight that has a strobe, and also another strobe on the body of the light that's multi-colored to distract an attacker. However, the stun feature is insane! I don't know how much power it puts out, but I wouldn't want to get zapped with it! The sound of the stun alone is enough to scare off an attacker. The rechargeable battery system is pretty handy, so no more purchasing replacement batteries. The one thing I wish it had was a safety feature on the stun part where it doesn't accidentally get pressed. Overall it's a solid value for a heavy duty self defense product.

Well made stunner with flashlights. Love that it breaks down into several pieces when not in use. The sound alone will be enough to scare away critters when on our walks. Very impressed!
