Solves a Modern Diesel Problem Before It Even Starts
The Ultimate DEF System Insurance Policy for Any Diesel Owner** **★★★★★ Solves a Modern Diesel Problem Before It Even Starts** As an owner of a modern diesel pickup, I was well aware of the looming nightmare of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system problems. Stories of clogged injectors, crystallized DEF, and four-figure repair bills are enough to keep any diesel owner awake at night. I started using Rislone 4780 DEF Treatment as a proactive measure, and it has provided an incredible sense of security. This isn't a magic potion; it's a scientifically formulated preventative maintenance product that genuinely works. **How It Works: Simple Science, Profound Results** DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is crucial for reducing emissions, but it has a major weakness: it can crystallize, especially in the precise injector nozzle of the SCR system. Rislone 4780 addresses this directly. * **Prevents Crystallization:** The treatment works by lowering the crystallization temperature of the DEF solution. This is critical during key-off cycles when residual DEF is sitting in the hot injector. By preventing the formation of solid crystals, it ensures the injector nozzle stays clear and fully functional. * **Cleans and Lubricates:** It doesn't just prevent future issues; it contains cleaning agents that help dissolve existing crystalline deposits and lubricates the DEF pump and injector. This dual-action approach (prevention + cleaning) is what makes it so effective. * **Protects Critical Components:** By keeping the entire DEF delivery system—from the tank and pump to the injector and lines—free of deposits, it protects some of the most expensive and sensitive components in your exhaust system. **Real-World Performance and Ease of Use** Using this product couldn't be simpler and integrates seamlessly into normal maintenance. * **Easy "Dump and Go" Application:** Before filling your DEF tank, you simply pour the entire 64-ounce bottle of Rislone 4780 in first. Then, you add your standard DEF fluid as you normally would. The two mix automatically in the tank. That's it. No tools, no complicated steps. * **One Bottle per DEF Tank Fill:** The dosage is perfectly calculated for a full tank of DEF, making it foolproof. I use it with every single DEF fill-up, treating it as a non-negotiable part of my fueling routine. * **Tangible Peace of Mind:** Since I started using it over 10,000 miles ago, I have had zero DEF-related warning lights or performance issues. The system runs cleanly and efficiently. For the price of one bottle per fill, I am effectively insuring my truck against repairs that can easily cost $2,000 - $4,000. **Who Needs This the Most?** This product is invaluable for: * **Short-Trip Drivers:** Vehicles that don't regularly get up to full operating temperature are more prone to DEF crystallization. This is a must-have. * **Extreme Climate Users:** Both cold winters and hot, dry summers can exacerbate DEF issues. This treatment provides a wider margin of safety. * **Any Diesel Owner Who Wants to Avoid Costly Repairs:** This is the cheapest and easiest form of preventative maintenance you can perform for your SCR system. **The Final Verdict** Rislone 4780 DEF Treatment is an absolutely essential product for the modern diesel era. It's a small, smart investment that protects against disproportionately large repair bills. **Who is this for?** * Every owner of a diesel vehicle with an SCR system (2010 and newer for most pickups). * Drivers who primarily take short trips. * Anyone looking to maximize the longevity and reliability of their diesel engine. * Fleet managers wanting to reduce downtime and maintenance costs. **Who should look elsewhere?** * Owners of gasoline vehicles or older diesels without DEF systems. **Final Thought:** Don't wait for a check engine light and a crippling repair estimate. Incorporating Rislone 4780 into your regular maintenance is one of the smartest decisions you can make for your diesel truck's health and your wallet. **It’s a professional-grade, easy-to-use solution that delivers genuine peace of mind. Highly recommended without reservation.**

Service DEF system? Try this first
Saved me probably close to $2000 in dealership to fix my def problem. I was on my way out of town when the vehicle will not restart in 150 miles, sevice def by dealership. Ordered this, got back with 22 miles to spare, just in time to see amazon delivery vehicle. Had almost a full def tank, so I used most of the bottle and error went away immediately. Drove a few miles to ensure it didn't reoccur and grabbed another bottle from local store, just to have as a backup if I needed it again. Every tank might be excessive, as it seems to de crystalize the def injector, but having an extra might not be a bad thing

Does its job well. Noticeable idle and fuel efficiency increase since first use. Definitely worth having in your tank simply for peace of mind.

It truly works, my only problem is having to use a funnel!
I use this product every time I add DEF to my vehicle. When combined with Rislone 4784 DEF Crystal Clean every 5000 miles, I’ve never had any issues with DEF-related components in my 2023 GMC 1500 LZ0. This manufacturer is known for sender-related issues, among others, but my truck has never needed any maintenance at the dealership. I would give this review 5 stars, but the only downside is that you need to use a funnel when adding it to your DEF tank.

Better to have and not know you need it than to need it and wish you had it.
I give this product a 5 star rating because I have been using it and I havent needed to take the DEF injector off for cleaning since using it. The reason I needed to discover this product ASAP last summer is because while towing my RV and driving through Ohio on a sunday, my light came on in my car telling me to find dealership to check the def injector. Being new to diesels I had no idea what that meant and we had about 400 miles to go that day to get to our pitstop for the night. So as my truck is counting down the miles as to when it will go into limp mode, I had puled into a truck stop and went under the truck and located the thing that the internet told me was the def injector and pulled it out with a socket wrench all the meanwhile just getting burned like crazy because I did not have time to wait to get this truck back on the road. I poked a hole in my water bottle to acually get all the dried def fluid off of the injector and then I screwed it back into place and started driving and the light didnt go off in the truck and it continued to count down the miles. While I was successfully able to reset the code after another 50 miles or so, this whole ordeal ended up costing my trip about 3 hours and if we needed a place for the night then it woudve costed much more. Not only that but if I had to go to a dealership and get it serviced the whole vacation would have been ruined as our days were fully accounted for. Needless to say I wish I had this product sooner even though I am not 100% certain that it will always prevent this stuff from clogging.

DEF TREATMENT
So far I can’t tell if it’s performing as it should. Based on the information on the bottle it might take few bottles for it to work. Since you can see results like some products I’m have assume it’s working.

Used after the initial DEF product, this one seems to have things working well
I used their initial product in DEF tank since I had been geting P20EE codes regularly. I could see crystalization around pour tube, cap, etc. I put it in, then I got the dreaded Poor DEF Quality message and P20EE code again. Then it went away. A few miles later, back again. Then after a few days. maybe 75-80 miles, no more codes.Took a long trip of 650 miles, plus local driving, code and DEF message have never appeared again. Seems to do the trick. I also add in this Rislone maintenance DEF fluid product. Seems to all be working as intended.
