This setup is as great as everyone claims
This setup is as great as everyone claims. I also have one of those white tents for photos and for me this kit works so much better. I have all the professional photography lights that surrounded the white tent and still had to take the time to tinker with it all for great photos. This Deep box is sturdier and the flaps open much better than the white tent setup. And I also love the lights on top. I don't know what I'll do when those light strips burn out but I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. The light is really awesome. If you have a tight space to take pictures... this is also much better then the white tents with photography lights surrounding the tent. I just took shots of small clothing items and it literally cut my time in half. I haven't shot Jewelry yet but I did try a shot with the white reflective board at the bottom. The lights on top reflect down and reflect the rows of lights... so using a reflective board isn't going to work without tinkering. I'm guessing it does appear that I'll have to use the white tent for shots with reflective boards. It does include rolls of white, orange and black background. It's a flexible plastic material and I also love this way better than the fabric backgrounds that goes with those white tents. It's easier to wipe away dust with the plastic covering verses the fuzzy fabric with the tents. And no wrinkles! BTW... I use those sticky lint rollers to get the dust off the backgrounds and it really works ideally for me. Overall... for most of my photos... this is going to be my go to photo box.

It works and gives good results, but poor quality control and difficult to assemble.
This studio tent is very hard to assemble. The main structure is made from metal poles which interlock using plastic end caps. Unfortunately, the poles all seem to be slightly different sizes. Some are very hard to press fully home and others won't attach at all and just slip out. I had to fix those with tape. Many reviewers have mentioned a problem with the zips. I think the zips are ok and the main problem is that if you don't seat all those poles fully, the structure is too large to fit the tent. There is a cryptic warning in the instructions about making sure the "bracket is in the right place". I pulled the zips gently and they worked. The next problem I encountered was that the velcro inside the tent is too weak to hold the weight of the background material. I had to add my own velcro fasteners to fix the background in place. The backgrounds are made of plastic, so they are easy to clean, but they can also get charged with static and attract dust and hairs easily. When packed these backgrounds are coiled tightly like springs and are hard to fit without springing back. I laid them flat for a couple of hours before assembling them to calm them down. Although there is a nice carry bag, I decided not to roll the backgrounds and store them in the bag, or I would have the same problems again. There were some annoying differences between this tent and the instructions. The hole for feeding through the cables is missing, so I had to feed them out of the top. Once assembled, the tent worked really well. The lights are very bright, but this makes photography at low ISO settings possible. The tent comes with a "soft background" which can be used to diffuse the light from the LEDs. (Why they call it a background I don't know. It has a large hole through the middle.) When I use this background I can take photographs of shiny glass objects without distracting reflections (I haven't tried metallic objects yet). So it works, it gives good results and it's cheaper than a lot of equivalents, but it's tedious to assemble so not as quick and portable as advertised.

Spacious Photo Studio
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have uploaded the full review (Including unboxing & Setting it up) in HD 1080P resolution to a well know video sharing website, a search for "Amzdeal Portable LED Photo Studio" should find it, here you will see the recordings in higher resolution than Amazon video reviews allow. If you want a compact solution that's easy to store and quick to setup, this is an ideal product! It's a large and solid design that flat packs for portability with complete ease. I can't wait to see the results of future product shoots that I get to do in the comfort of my home, without the need of cumbersome light stands or lights for that matter. Attached is a result of my first shoot with this product.

Wish I'd bought it months ago ! Makes a huge difference if you are struggling with lighting
Very pleased with this photo studio and pleasantly surprised that it arrived a day earlier than Amazon had predicted. You will always have to edit photos if you are trying to get a transparent background but the problem I was having with my old setup was that the lighting was so dark that I had shadows everywhere and Photoshop couldn't pick out just the white background. This studio has solved that and now it takes only a couple of minutes of editing to remove a white background and the colours of the product really pop. If you don't mind the background then even better. I've attached a photo take in the booth for an eBay listing (it didn't sell in case anyone wants to buy it lol). You do have issues with reflective items (like glass / phone & tablet screens etc) as the LED in the unit will reflect in them.

A good sized area for photographing larger items.
This is a good size for photographing medium to larger items . I make bags and I am able to include props into the shot quite easily. The box is sturdy and the lights are very bright. The position and angle of the lights can be adjusted which I have found to be a very useful feature. It has enabled me to take better photographs that don't need further cropping or editing and I would therefore highly recommend this product. Delighted with my purchase.

A beast!
Wowwww! Very large and tons of room... I can even get in it!! Unsuitable for ‘on the go’ as it does take time to put together and it’s a very snug fit so zipping up requires dedication and a fair bit of patience. The carry case is robust, lighting is efficient and sleek as are the backdrops which are again, time consuming to put in! The tent is professional and sturdy, the two entrances are very helpful too. Overally happy with it... 100% Recommend to all budding and pro photographers!
