This review pertains to the product and not this seller on Amazon.I have got this item directly from Wilco. There are not many products out there that address this spare tire issue. My vehicle has run flats, but the max distance you can ran on them is 50 miles - max. When you are out in the sticks, with no cell coverage and more than 50 miles from any city or town, the run flats won't help much. So I got this spare tire adapter thinking it is a good idea, and bought a full wheel on Ebay, as a spare. Wilco shipped the item relatively fast, and the installation was pretty easy - up to the point where the wheel itself needs to be set on its support.From here, is all down hill. The multi lug adapter does work for MOST of the vehicles, using 3 lugs only. However, if you are in the group of 30 % of the unlucky users who's wheel does not fit the holes, then the expenses start adding up fast. Long story short, my wheel needed a spacer adapter to fit, and not by a bit. Finding an adapter or a wheel spacer is a challenge at most of the stores, if not impossible. So, I decided to call Wilco. Yes they can sell me an adapter - for 200 $ !!!! No, I am not kidding.Another troublesome thing is that on some vehicles,is that the arm's hinge (depending of the height of your hitch receiver ) may sit right in front of the exhaust. On long trips it gets hot(er). I am not sure how is that going to affect the item in long term and all the plastics in the hinge mechanism.Bottom line - they have the advantage that there are not too many products like this out there, in fact there may be one or maybe 2 similar ones.Budget for 25-35% more on the final price - at least.Watch the item over time ( hinge ) and see that there are no catastrophic failures on the mechanism.Would I buy it again ? Probably not. I would have liked to give this to a local fabricator to make a custom make one, and could have cost me a whole lot less. Over all price with adapters, longer lugs, license plate relocation kit, light relocation kit, new backup camera - 1200$.
