The risers themselves are pretty tough. Mine arrived with some of the mounts bent and I had to hammer them back straight, but it didn't take much powder coat off. I used my own hardware, so I can't speak for that portion. I haven't noticed any flexing when using the steps, so they're nice and rigid. They've been installed for about 2.5 years now and still look great. I will say the step angle is kinda shallow and awkward, but I did use 2×10's as my runners, which fit great, I must say.

We needed to extend the stair stringers on the stairs to our pier by one step - these were perfect for that purpose. They are well made and heavy duty.

Good buy. Heavy duty and sturdy. I looked at sets of 2. Glad I decided to buy the set of 3. I want to enclose the face of each step as well. I'm still working on that plan. I may have to drill holes to attach the vertical pieces. Maybe even glue?? Still working on that.

These things are solid. Would recommend.

I use these for my rentals. They are easy to install and heavy duty. They'll last far longer that the treated pine that we have always made stringers out of. Instead of using the screws provided to install treads i use 2-1/2" self drilling screws and pre drill the holes with a 1/8" bit. Using the short provided screws from the bottom is a pain

These worked very well for a outdoor deck stair - very heavy duty, well made, and attractive. We wanted the stairs to our deck to have the same floating effect as the deck itself, and these fit the bill perfectly. The also come with an excellent quality hardware pack for multiple installation options. Good value for the price as well.
