The only protein bar I have found that has actual vegetables in it. Taste and texture much better that so many protein bars on the market.chewy flavorless bars on the market.

I’ve had these before and the quality is still there. It’s substantial size does fill you up. Tastes great. My GO TO protein bar.

The Vega Protein Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter is great! It does have a lot of sugar (18 G) for the size of the bar but it also has 20 grams of protein and tastes great. Not nearly as chalky and tastes way better than competitors with the same protein content. Be careful not to confused it with the Vega Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Snack Bar. That one is similar but is smaller, has 10 grams of protein, and 11 grams of sugar. I don't like it nearly as well and it does not get me to lunch the way the larger bar does.

I've tried a whole bunch of protein bars now, and this is one of the few I intend to keep around. They taste really good; lots better than most protein bars, perhaps because they aren't trying to be low-carb. I use them before and/or after workouts, or as a quick breakfast; in other words, in situations where I want some carbs too, not just a pure protein boost. The blend of pea and brown rice protein is state-of-the-art as far as non-animal protein sources goes; each of those proteins has weaknesses in amino profile, but together they come really close to approximating whey. Personally I have no dairy issues and use whey too, but if you're looking for a vegan product this is pretty hard to beat. I do wish they had less fat, but I have that complaint about most bars. If somebody would come out with a bar that's about 25g each of protein/carbs with just a couple grams of fat I'd be all over it, but I haven't seen that.

I work in a physically demanding job and would take these to work. They have more carbs and are filling without making you feel like you ate something bad for you. I'm sad I can't get them anymore and hope Vega will have them again. I went to Vega's direct website and they are out of stock as well. I have tried all three flavors and they are all good.

Only complaint could be that they taste TOO good. Ok, they are a bit chalky, but what do you expect? It never bothered me, but if chalkiness something that bothers you then I wouldn't recommend them.

I am not a vegan so perhaps I should not be writing a review of this product. That being said, I will write one anyways. I like the taste. They are dry, though, so I wash then down with a protein shake. Unlike other non-vegan protein bars, these have too many calories-- 290 per bar. So the price and the high calorie content means I will not be buying more.

This flavor is indeed the best!! I can’t have cacao, cocoa, or chocolate so it’s quite lovely to find a vegan protein bar that I can indulge in and have been for the past 5 months!I have ordered this big box several times because it’s quite hard to find these in stores and when they are at Whole Foods, there aren’t many left.I snack on these while fishing, at work, gaming, etc and they don’t leave you feeling like you need to rush to the restroom after consuming them lol. No powdery taste! No chalky taste, or tough chew at all!!I highly recommend.

The listing indicated a unit total of 144 pieces in this order to incentivize you to buy but no, it’s only 1 box of 12. When I bright to the attention of customer service, the Amazon rep tried to tell me that the listing is correct and that it’s 12 smaller pieces in each bar which is obviously incorrect. Waiting for response from the vendor to resolve as this is an overpriced and misleading listing
