This phone made life easier
This phone made life easier for my father-in-law, who is dealing with early onset dementia. He was having difficulty using a standard phone with numbers stored into its memory, and would often end up deleting numbers by hitting incorrect menu options. This phone made it simple to pick up the handset and simply push the button with the name or picture of whoever he is trying to call.We have had this installed for him for quite some time now, and it still works perfectly. There have been zero issues. I highly recommend this phone for anyone in a similar situation.

Good option for aging family and dementia issues
I bought this for my dad because dialing numbers has become too complicated. He lives in a skilled nursing home so in order to use the phone you have to dial nine to get out. You can progame this phone to dial and extension then the number you want to call. It's light weight and the speaker volume can go pretty loud. My father figits with the cords when he talks to me and sometimes the curly cord from the handset to the base of the phone comes out. It can get plugged in but he doesn't have the wherewithal to do/know that. Also, when he's holding hte phone, he often pushes buttons accidentally but it won't disconnect the call when that happens. I'm actually quite happy I found a phone like this. He has used it for about 1 year and it's still holding up.His mobile phone has become way too complicated so this is the perfect solution. I don't use photos. Instead, I wrote my name on a piece of paper and cut it to size. The phone cord are pretty short so you might want to invest in a long cord to the wall from the phone.

Great Phone for Visually Impaired
This was for my mother who has vision problems. The large key pads allow her to see all the numbers without having to strain her eyes and the pre-set auto dial is great with the pictures to help her select the right person. I opted for writing out their names for the auto dial. She loves it.

Won't correctly program all numbers โ not functional
This product seemed great. The buttons are large and appeared to be appropriate for a senior with vision impairment. However, the phone would not program every phone number; therefore, it was useless. We had high hopes that these were dashed. Keep looking!

Photo area not large enough
Bought this for my 88 yr old mom, who has dementia and some vision loss. Love the idea of the pictures but they ended up being too small for her to see clearly. She isn't able to use the keypad. Wish someone would make a landline with 6 large buttons where you can put photos. Loud lower tone ring and loud volume and speaker would be ideal too.

Useful, easy to program a blessing to have
I couldn't love this more. My sister is impaired cognitively and vocaly. I had to tape the handset down because she would knock it off and forget about it. Having the option to call me by pressing the speaker button is very useful as it is only 1 of two movements.I watched her keep going right for the "sos" button and ignore my photo. I fixed that by programing that button with my number since I don't want her to constantly call the police by accident. She has called me several times and our connection is a relief to both of us due to this wonderful device.
