Chooka Women's Waterproof Duck Chelsea Lined Rain Boot

It's been a tough winter and my boots died. I like these boots because even though they are great for rainy days, they are also great for snow -- especially snow that sticks around after its melt date. I love that the boots are very easy to slip on. They feel comfortable, are waterproof, and I feel as if my ankles get a bit of support. For the price, these boots are fantastic!

Oh my gosh ! I've been looking hard for a good pair of rain boots, since my London Fog ones are coming apart even though my lovely sister gifted them to me couple of years ago. Anyway, been staring at these rain boots for some time , decided to go ahead and purchase them. I'm so glad that I did. These boots with its inner plush lining, roomy toe box, and cupping of foot felt comfortable to my feet..easy to pull on and off. The weight of these boots are balanced well its not heavy or to light in considering my own weight. Moving on, the exterior is fabulous in the way of durability, moisture wicking, and sealing properties in material. I say all this because I have flat feet ( 9.54L and 3/4 W ) with propensity towards bone problems so, searching for shoes of any type can be a chore. To me, height, versatility, material, durability and moisture wicking properties are important in obtaining quality worthy items that will last longer. Will update my review over period of time.

These boots are warm, comfortable, and easy to get on and off without my touching the boot to help get them on/off. I feel the material is good sturdy rubber material and there is no smell, like you sometimes can get. I ordered my size 9 but was afraid they would be too tight, but they are perfect with socks too. I am very happy thus far with my purchase and look forward to having them for a few years at best. I ordered them in black and they look good because the ankle boot doesn't make my feet look or feel huge. The ankle height is just right. If I experience any problems down the line, I will update this review.

One of the reasons I purchased these was that I was looking for a wider toe box without being a barefoot boot. These came up in the search and there were reviews that said the toe box was roomy. I wouldn't go that far. It’s not excessively narrow, but if you have flippers for feet like me, your toes will be squished a bit. I compared the width to my two kinds of trail runners for reference -Salomon XA Pros and Altra Lone Peaks and they’re a 1/2 inch narrower than the Salomon and a full inch narrower than the Altra in the toe box. So I can wear them, but with the thinnest socks I have, which is okay warmth-wise because of the plush lining. With that out of the way, if you have average feet, you should be comfortable in these. They’re true to size, easy to slip on without using your hands, and they seem to have good traction. And they’re thick but not too stiff. So far I’ve only used them in wet grass and steady drizzle but they’re waterproof and warm as expected. And they look cute on. I wouldn’t go so far as to go hiking in these because my feet wouldn’t personally be comfortable for longer periods on rough terrain, but these are fine for my purposes, which are mainly walking my dog and short walks in town. I’m approaching my second winter in the PNW, having moved from the desert. Last winter, the only way I could keep my Raynaud’s toes dry and warm was with thick thermal socks and crocs. So at least this is a step up style-wise.

Yes, rubber boots are used on a farm, gardens, stomping in rain puddles keeping your feet dry, but yet stylish enough to wear to the grocery store, and quite warm and comfortable as boots are also lined. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Best “duck” boots I’ve owned in 20 years! They are: Lined for the cold, 1 piece for keeping out the water and have good traction. The best part is there is nothing to lace up or a need for a shoe horn. They just SLIP ON!!!

I would give these boots a 5 star but there is this weird issue I have never encountered with ANY type of shoe. Right in the bottom of the heel there is this very oddbump I would say the size of a dime on the inside of the boot. So when I put these on and walk its like there is this mounted up bump that causes the bottom of my foot to hurt. These were so cheap I decided I might keep them and tear them apart and see if I can shave it off or get another liner insole.? Haven't decided yet. The picture shows right where the issue is located BUT ON THE INSIDE of boot.

Love the boot (3rd pair) but this on has thicker lining so it’s too short. Just order up. (Hey Chooka- how about a 9 1/2??)

Se sienten resistentes, buena válida, el diseño es muy bonito, por dentro tienen forro que las hace muy cómodas, son muy prácticas para los días lluviosos

Buenas producto en términos generales. Buena relación costo-beneficio

La suela está un poco dura, las plantillas son afelpadas, pero venían pegadas con silicón y quedó un borde que lastimaba muchísimo, el pisar es un poco duro y no es muy confortable, pero sin duda sí te mantienen seca en la lluvia y haciendo actividades con el agua.
