Worth every single penny. Unfortunately, I am easily annoyed by gnats and somehow they make their way into my house every summer to irritate the loving he** out of me. This is not a magic product as it will NOT stop the source of your bugs but it will continue catching flying bugs as long as you've got them. Bugs are attracted to light so you won't see this too effective during the day. It does its best work at night when the lights are out as these have a bright blue light that attracts the bugs. We had a plant that gnats called home and grew a large family so we used these to capture all of the loose gnats while we removed the source. It took about a week but eventually they all disappeared. I got the 2 pack. Put one upstairs and one downstairs in dark rooms with little to no light at night. After a few days, both had at least 10-15 bugs each. After a week, they all disappeared. Highly recommend.

They're constantly catching fruit flies, gnats, and other tiny flying insects that I didn't even realize were around. I like that they're chemical free and work quietly in the background 24 hours a day. They're easy to plug in, and changing the glue cards takes just a minute. If you're dealing with annoying flying insects indoors, I highly recommend these. They've become a regular part of keeping my home bug free, and I'll continue buying them.

My husband and I have quite the collection of houseplants going on. We recently had a huge unexpected surge of those little brown gnats that hang around plants and pelt you in the face, especially in our bathroom with a south facing window, which doubles as a houseplant retreat when they look like they need a little sunlight infusion. We also have had a smaller, but still annoying, surge in our bedroom, which also has houseplants in it. Yesterday I decided I’d had enough and bought what I originally thought was a totally bougie and unnecessary purchase, these little light traps. Why would I spend almost $30 on two little plugins when there are so many alternatives? BECAUSE: -These are nowhere near as hideous and gross looking as regular fly traps. You do not see the flies until you remove them and they are small and sleek looking. -They attract the bugs with light, so I don’t have to just hope that the bugs wander into the trap. -They are chemical free which is important to me with an extremely curious toddler in the house. We also tried home remedies like soapy water and apple cider vinegar to no avail, just a stanky vinegary bathroom, these have no smell and actually work. -They are super easy to install, you just peel the backing off the card, slide it into the unit, plug it in and let it do its thing. -It’s silent, you’re only aware of it because of the light, which my husband didn’t love, but he doesn’t love gnats pelting him in the face more, so we’ll take it. -It is super easy to clean and dispose of, it’s not unruly like regular fly traps. I didn’t want to spend money on this initially and put it off till I couldn’t stand it anymore, I wish I had just bought them earlier. They are amazing. I’ve seen some complaints about these not treating the root cause of the problem/gnats and flies coming back. Obviously, these won’t kill eggs or prevent other bugs from coming into your house. But blaming the product for that is like buying a treadmill and then complaining that though it did help you exercise and did exactly what it said it would do, it didn’t stop you from overeating your favorite junk foods. This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. These photos are from one night, less than 12 hours, the difference is noticeable in our house. We assumed it would be more effective at night because it’s the only light source attracting the bugs. This may be my favorite purchase of 2024. My only complaint is that there is some kind of residue on the plug in itself which smears the printed on label, is a bit sticky and left black fingerprints around(last picture). It came off when I washed my hands but this was annoying. This happened before we even touched the sticky paper, so we know it’s an issue with the actual plugin unit. Still worth it to us.

THIS WORKS!! Very pleased with this purchase. I've been dealing with a lot of teeny tiny gnats this season. I've tried other natural traps and they just were not cutting it. These traps though?!?!!!! Holy moly, they attract and trap! Just overnight, a lot were caught over by my house plants and in my bathroom. So easy to put together. I didn't think I was going to have to buy extra sticky pads for them anytime soon, but I might be wrong! Definitely recommend if you have annoying lil gnats!!

We tried traps for a week before writing this review. Traps are good for gnats not flies. There is no odor and the blue light serves as a nice subtle night light.

Perfect for plant lovers! I bought this 1 month ago because my house was becoming infested by gnats due them laying their young in the moist soil of my house plants. My roommate and I spent all day swatting the flies with our hands but since getting this there are little to no flies! I also had an additional one by the kitchen sink for the occasional fly that get in the kitchen and this has done well at catching them. The trap works best at night because the flies are attracted to it so go to bed and rest assured knowing the fly will be trapped tomorrow. This is an essential for those of us with house plants

These are excellent. Have used them for quite some time and they really kept fruit flies away. Worth every penny!

We caught over 50 fruit flies in one night on one of these lighted sticky pads. I also really like the blue light they emit. I plugged the second one in tonight. Will see how many it catches. I’d like to get more of these. Only fault is I wish they were cheaper.
