Purchased this product in October as a Christmas present to entertain my granddaughter on journeys. Advertising states it has an internal battery which holds a 3 hr charger (leave the power cables at home at your own peril). This item does not work without the power cables. I carried out the instructions to check all was well with the product, it worked with the power cable attached. The internal battery charged ( light changed to green showing fully charged). Set the unit up in our Car and off we went . When we decided to switch on the unit, we ended up with a very disappointed young girl because the unit shut down within seconds. Tried to switch the unit back on nothing. Once back home plugged the unit in and it worked. Tried again to power up using the supposed internal battery dead as a dodo. This item can not be claimed as portable if it as to be connected to the power grid. Very disappointed

Terrible worked for hour and then a couldn't get it to go back on again send it back and got a full refund plus don't get a 12 warranty on the electronics witch isn't right
