This is a nice upgrade from the plastic olympic adapters that came included with my Fitness Reality X-Class Light Commercial High Capacity Olympic Power Cage with lat pull down. These are great quality: powder coated steel tube with a plastic cap on the end to help guide the weight plates on. I also ordered a 3rd for the Fitness Reality X-Class Olympic Preacher Curl and Leg Developer Attachment, works perfectly and am very happy with this product.

Thank you for all the previous reviews. They we're correct to recommend this product. I've put together a few home gyms and I always end up needing to get an adapter for the olympic style 2 inch diameter plates. These fit perfectly on my power cage. They have a steel set screw that is very sturdy. Also my advice to others that may strip their set screw and have a hard time with adapters loosening up simply put silicone inside the adapter, set it on the post your adapting and let it set for a day. They will never loosen after that. Usually if you have the 2 inch diameter weights your not switching back and forth between the 1 inch diameter plates so you'll want your adapters to be permanent.

This product was exactly what I needed. I was minimally upset that it did not come with the screw to tighten it down to the bar, although it did come with the hex wrench. For my purpose it is only for my leg raise machine so the screw is not all that important. Had it been for a bar, I would have been considerably more aggravated. Over all it is solid and will hold up to everything my family can put it through. And the additional bonus was that it did ship and arrive very quickly.

recieved an all-metal adapter sleeve. heavy-duty construction, solid fixing screw, has a small retainer 'lip' on the backend to keep the 2" olympic plates in place. I've had no complaints whatsoever; works great. The only "issue" I had was that the weight plate receiver pin on my leg extension adapter is about 1-2 inches longer than the adapter, so there's a small bit of offset on the backside due to the adapter sleeve not sliding in flush all the way to the end of the receiver pin, but it's not a problem in my case.

I like these and would recommend them. I ordered 2 for use on my Deltech leg curl/extension machine, which uses horizontal mounting on left and right. The adapters are 2 inch steel tubing, powder coated I believe with plastic rounded end caps. Spacing for the tubing is done with steel washers welded inside the tubes and these make for a very good fit and spacing. The length of bar I needed to cover was about 8 1/2 inches on either side and the adapters fit perfectly. They come with an Allen wrench to install, and the set screws are nice and strong as they should be.

I ordered 6 of these and they came well packaged and clean. They all had their own allen wrench for installation. I have mixed weights for different things so I needed some racks with 1" standard posts and some with 2" Olympic sleeves. They installed easy and quick. I tested all my Standard brand 2" Olympic weights and Barbell brand 2" Olympic plates and they slid off and on the sleeve with no problem at all. I would purchase these again if I ever needed more and would recommend them to anyone doing a conversion. Great, functional product.

Did not fit over the posts on my rack, the adapter needs to put the setscrew in a different spot and/or make the tube longer. Could also be constructed differently to be a full "tube within a tube" in order to adapt *any* length post. As-is it will only work if you have a post of a fairly exact length, so I had to return it. Measure twice if you're going to use this!

The Valor Fitness adapter was easy to retrofit onto my calf raise machine. I first had to add a couple layers of duct tape to the original post so the adapter fit snug. Then using the set screw to hold the sleeve in place. The Olympic plates fit well onto the sleeve and after several months of use the sleeves still hold strong and there is no damage to the sleeves. Yes some of the shiny paint has rubbed off the sleeves but this does not deter from the function of the sleeves.
