I bought this product mostly just for facial hair. Since the menopause started I had been waxing on a weekly basis.I've been using the laser now for 4 months, and although there has been a decline in hair I am still waxing on a fortnightly basis before using the laser.As for other parts of the body I found the laser to be completely useless on my legs, infact I have given up. It overheats and becomes defunk before I've even done half of a half leg.I used to start on the front of my lower leg, it overheats or it stops working, I go wash the dishes come back, but it's only a short time before it stops working again.I'm sure I will eventually have to stop waxing my face? If you can afford the better more expensive version, then I recommend you spend the extra money.

What a waste of money!!! This device does not work. I have regularly used this for 6 (!!!) months as directed and would say the overall reduction of hair growth is 5-10% only. Some hair is even growing back thicker! I have light skin with blonde/dark blonde hair so this should work according to the table. I've given this product two stars because the only positive effect was that it helped me with ingrown hair that has almost disappeared. For the rest it is just not working for me and I really wonder why some of my hair is growing back THICKER and DARKER than before!!! Always do wear glasses because sometimes it even flashes without touching the skin!!! BTW: wrong description too: this does not remove hair permanently; long-lasting only if you're lucky.

First one I had to return as it broke after 1 use.Gave this a really really REALY fair chance, but over the last year has done absolutely nothing, my hair is now actually much thicker so back to waxing for me.I am pailer than Casper and have thick very dark hairs, which is meant to be the most optimal, but nope, should have forked or for a branded one like Phillips which have amazing reviews.I can only assume that this one is just not strong enough (I used it on the strongest setting).In honesty, save up the extra and save your disappoinment.

I've been using for months now and haven't seen any reduction in hair growth. Very disappointed, especially because I have light skin and black hair. It did worry me that I didn't feel anything on the highest setting (I heard it should feel like being snapped by an elastic band). You also need to buy gel to go with this product.

Instructions on safe use in the leaflet provided and the information on Amazon are contradicting and unclear. I contacted the seller over a month ago to clarify instructions and to also find out if there were any guidelines to using this product and having sun exposure to the same areas of skin (as there are with other brands). Did not receive a reply so have not used the product.

I've been using it for over a year (olive skin, dark hair) and yes, hair grows slower and thinner. But I've used it will over 10 times and there's still hair. I'm glad I bought it and glad to be using it, but it does not permanently remove hair.On the other hand, maybe after 40 treatments it will be permanent.To your consideration.
