I wish I knew about this trash can sooner. I finally have a bathroom trash can that is puppy proof! The size is a perfect fit, it’s sleek, easy to clean, keeps the trash bag hidden, and stays tightly closed. It’s easy to open but not easy enough for puppy paws.

I purchased this particular trash can for a few reasons.1. To keep the bag hidden out of view, and inaccessible to my chihuahua, who will pull the bag to knock the can over and pillage its contents.2. For a metal, impermeable material, difficult for small chihuahua teeth to chew through.3. To seal odors that may emanate from the can - therefore making the contents less enticing to said chihuahua.4. To be theft proof, but NOT ugly.Here’s what I found:1. This can hides the trash bag super nicely and is very easy to slip the cover on and off to change out the bag. (A++)2. The bin is impermeable, however the material is very light, which leaves it susceptible to being knocked over. Also, the plastic slide on cover material feels cheap, which I don’t love. (B+)3. The plastic cover does close and open easily with a push, however, the odors are not 100% sealed, but it is an improvement from our step lid previous bin. (B++)4. It’s less than ideal material, aesthetically not too much of an eye sore but when closer to it, definitely takes away from the nicer finishes and decor of the bathroom. (B-)All in all, if you don’t mind a cheaper material that isn’t as aesthetically pleasing as a ceramic or other more sturdy make up - this bin works!

I needed a small garbage can to fit in my home office near my desk. This one fits just right because it doesn't take up much space. The outside cover lifts off easily and when replaced, hides the garbage bag. It wouldn't work for a work office that disposed of a lot of papers or such that took up a lot of space but for me this one was just right. It has a spring loaded top to hide the trash and is easy to open simply by pushing on it. Glad I got it.

Can't tell why this has a 'frequently returned item' flag. Maybe there's defective ones about. Either way, this was PERFECT for me, I even went and bought a second one for the other bathroom. My dog picked up a nasty habit of picking little papers and trash out of the bathroom trash. The solution was either to police the bathrooms or get a trashcan that shuts. This one is very clean and minimalist looking and it works perfectly. The entire top gets pulled off so you can replace the bag. Hassle-free and you don't get those unsightly garbage bag corners peeking out of the bin. I imagine this is good against bugs and roaches too.

Have bought several of these and they work perfectly. So much better than regular waste baskets for bathrooms. Very pretty style to look at.

Beautiful gray color and awesome size but the description photos don't show the large line that goes down the side of the can. This isn't eye pleasing and your cannot turn it around to hide it. The side of my bathroom that this can needs to be on doesn't allow that because the lid is fixed on one side. I wanted to love this but that fact alone will bother me so I decided to return it and go with another design. Unfortunate though because I thought you was good quality and as mentioned, the color is great. But the cheap look just didn't do it for me.
