Replacement Remote for Insignia Toshiba Amazon Fire Smart TV

I went through two other replacement remotes before finally finding this one, and it’s perfect. Even though it’s a generic remote, it works just like the name‑brand version without the $35 price tag. This is a great price for a great replacement remote. I was worried about "assigning" or "pairing" the new remotes, (I purchased two), to the t.v. but instead, they worked without the need for pairing.

If you're wondering whether this remote works like the original, in my experience it does. I needed a replacement because my old Fire TV remote stopped working, and this one paired quickly with my Fire TV without any issues. The buttons are responsive, the voice function works well, and it feels comfortable to hold. Also a little tip is download the amazon fire tv app, go to settings and hit controllers. That was the easiest way I found to connect my new remote. very compatible with my tv. Fits perfect in my hand. Plus the back does not slide off like the original. One thing that really stood out was the delivery. I ordered it expecting to wait a day or two, but it arrived in less than three hours, which was a huge bonus since I use my Fire TV every day. If you need a replacement remote and don't want to spend time troubleshooting an old one, this was an easy, hassle-free solution. So far, it's working exactly as expected.

It works well and was quick and easy to pair with my TV. However, the buttons are not as high as the factory remotes, so it doesn't work great with the silicone case I bought. If the buttons weren't so flush with the plastic, this would be a 5 star, but you really have to feel it out to find the right button in the dark.

This replacement remote works perfectly! If you follow the directions its very easy to set it up to the tv. It's a great product. I've had no issues with it. I still can't find my old one but I was able to set it up to my TV and I haven't looked back since. I love it! Would I buy it again, Absolutely!!
