Zipflight Floating Frisbee and Steering Wheel Dog Toy, Medium

My whippet loves these. They fly exceptionally well despite being so light. I worry about damaged teeth on many of the alternatives but these are soft and perfect. They are not cheap but are well made and last a long time if you do not loose it.

Like the title implies, and yeah, over all its a great product. Its very light, much more so than a Kong Flyer or similar rubber frisbee, so, it might take a little getting used to regarding throwing, but lets be honest, your dog doesnt care if its going over the ground like a wheel, your dog just wants to chase because thats where the fun is. The foam around the edges is perfect for fast dogs that can get to frisbees before they land, so they cant hurt themselves, and it seems sturdy enough for a seriously strong set of Staffy jaws, but only for retrieval... This next bit is important, so, read it, understand it and if you need to, get an adult to explain it: If your dog doesnt bring the toy back and leave it for you or your dog has a tendency to chase toys then plant itself down to chew said toy, this is not for your dog, try something else like chuckit ball or a good sturdy book on dog training. Its going to get dirty if youre throwing it in fields, so, you need to know that it doesnt clean up fantastically, but a quick rinse, a scrub with water, and a dry, itll be fine enough... if you dont like dirty outdoor dog toys, why do you have a dog? If this product falls to pieces within a few uses, ill update this review, but all in all, im very happy with it so far. Edit: Well, its been around 2 months and at least an hour of fetch a day, every day and its almost time to get another. My Staffy has a tendency when shes super excited to shake toys as shes running back with them and that caused a tear which has, over time torn the fibers, ill probably be able to get another few weeks out of it, but yeah, ill need another soon-ish. So, all in all, 15 quid for 70-80 hours of play (once i get another), yeah, i would say that's good value. However, i will say, that the fibers are both strong and thin, do NOT let your dog chew this product, the fibers could easily cut their gums, and if swallowed, well, your dog is going to have a seriously bad time. If your dog doesnt use this as a chew toy, its an excellent product with a great value for the cost.

This frisby floats and is easily seen and retrieved by the dog (lab) when sent into the water. She loves it but likes to shake it about once caught so it fell apart after a few weeks. However we thought worth buying again as other designs didn’t work as well for her for water frisby throwing. Not as good on land.

Update: After using for a few months, it has a lots of bite mark as my dog catch it, run around with it, but it still holding firm, still fly very well. Bought this for my dog to swim. Very happy with its quality, its quite sturdy, although I would not let my dog chew it, it's not I bought it for anyway. It floats and fly really well. It's also quite easy to throw and with its bright color, easy to see for dog and human. If you want your dog to catch it in the air, I think paraflight would be better suit, as those frisbee offer a little bit more of floating in the air, it stay in the air slightly longer, especially with wind. This one(Zipflight) is really for throw it long distance. But this is what I bought it for, I actually don't want my dog to catch it in the air. Overall both me and my dog like this a lot. Have a lots of fun playing this in the field or in the river.

We get through a LOT of frisbees due to fields around us being surrounded by water-filled ditches rather than just hedges and as is often the case, the time was upon us for a frisbee refresh. Our go-to for the last few years has been the Aerobie Dogobie, which is a truly superb dog frisbee - easy to throw and catch and super durable. Our whippet loved it as it's fast enough to give him a good run. We went for the Chuckit! based on reviews and took it out for a test drive earlier. We've also ordered other brands so will be judging on the criteria below: FRISBEE RATING- Chuckit! Flying ability: 4/10 Durability: 8/10 Visibility: 8/10 Catchability: 3/10 Unintentional Hilarity: 10/10 Overall Score: 33/50 In terms of flying ability, it was easy to throw, lightweight enough but only covered about 20 metres or so before dipping down and landing. This was significantly less than our Dogobie. It was also a slower flight, which meant the whippet was less entertained. Durability/chewability wise, it's a good bit of kit for our pooch, as he doesn't tend to be too chewy or destructive. It's lasted well with barely even a dent or sign of play. Visibility wise it's great, bright colours that are good for doggo vision and also for human vision in longer grass (or trees...) However, it's not a huge frisbee, so there is a higher potential for loss compared to the bigger discs or ring designs. Catchability is a bit niche as not all dogs do go for an airborne catch, but ours definitely does and he found this difficult due to the width and size of the ring and the quick dip in flight. Unintentional Hilarity was high due to the way he carried it. His snoot poked through the ring and he essentially was walking blind and going on site. It was a bit like the ultimate cone of shame (See pic). Ultimately we'll give it a few more goes but early impressions are that it's just not a Dogobie.

I'm a professional dog walker who takes up to six dogs at a time and this AMAZING frizbee has withstood more than any of my other toys. My Border Collie adores it and it's helped his distance work so much, plus it's somehow survived being tugged and chewed by multiple dogs over the last couple months with absolutely no sign of any change in its durability. It floats, flies really well, and it's lightweight enough to clip to my bumbag. I never leave the house without it! I'm actually buying a second one so that I don't have to chase them down to get the first one back 😂 Can't reccomend it enough - best toy in my arsenal and they all go totally crackers for it. Outstrips all the other frizbees I've tried over the years, no way a casual pet dog could ruin it without some serious chewing.

I was really worried about getting one of these because my terrier quickly rips most toys to shreds. But this has been fantastic. I've waited 3 weeks to review it so that I could test its durability. It passed. My dog is half Border Terrier and half Jagd Terrier. He's knee height and Loves to play tug of war. Though I didn't intend to make this a tug of war toy, because I wanted it to last. I can't get a toy off my dog without playing it. He's tugged at this frisbe for hours every day since we got it. He holds onto it with his teeth even when being weightlifted into the air time and again, up and down. It's really held up well and still flies well. I suspect I'll need to buy another one in a few months time. But we will have had good use of it until then. I had been considering buying the more expensive ones to ensure we got good use out of them, but I'm so glad I tried this one first. It's perfect. Well done product design people and thank you for creating this affordable and durable toy.

Destroyed in one day by a medium sized fairly gentle dog. I’ve never had something like this destroyed so quickly - in fact, the quickest took several years by the same dog.

Tough

Aerodynamic shape flies up to 50+ feet, even in light wind. Its floats high on water; great for pools, lakes, and beaches. Cons: Easily damaged if left with an aggressive chewer; meant strictly for interactive fetch especially big dogs, that why mine only uses it under supervision, but its her fave frisbee.
