A bit pricey, but worth it for Godiva fans
This advent calendar makes the countdown to Christmas extra special. The chocolates are exquisite – a mix of classic and surprising flavors. The elegant design feels like a luxurious treat to open each day. It's on the expensive side, but if you love Godiva, it's a delightful indulgence.

Nice but expensive
The chocolates in this calendar are nice chocolates - nothing to shout home about, but nice nonetheless. I think the cost of these adult advent calendars are getting out of hand as you could buy 4 or 5 boxes of your favourite chocolates for this amount!Nicely designed though, very festive - just quite expensive for okay chocolates.

The most amazing chocolate I've had, from a calendar!
To say that receiving this product in March is a little early is perhaps an understatement - however there are absolutely no complaints on this end! Behind each door was a wonderfully wrapped flavoured Belgian chocolate, they all had a rich, smooth and creamy texture. Each flavour was so intensely rich, the chocolate really did melt in my mouth! This would make for the perfect advent calendar and I can highly recommend it for Christmases to come!

A luxe calendar
This is quite a big, thick advent calendar and the design is nice, with premium luxury chocolates inside. At £17.50 it's quite expensive, but a nice luxe gift if you do spend a lot of money on premium advent calendars. It's worth noting, when we received ours, it was best before Sept 24, so not sure if I got old stock from Christmas 2023, or short dated stock - either way, ours was out of date well before the next christmas after ordering.

Overpriced, very sweet and missing one of the flavours
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.Although it isn't Christmas we got these chocolates to take round to a family dinner party as a bit of a treat given Godiva's reputation for quality chocolate. Packaging is very nice, with each of the chocolates individually wrapped behind a calendar door to be opened (standard advent calendar style) so for Christmas it would work well. There are supposed to be five flavours in the box, but only four were supplied. the box does say that contents vary, but like other reviewers we found that it was the salted caramel that was missing, which would imply that this is a manufacturing/packaging issue rather than just natural variation. The flavour of those chocolates included is OK, but nothing special. They are sickly sweet, but that is often the case with flavoured chocolates and isn't too much of an issue if you're buying it for children but not so good for adults who don't have such a sweet tooth. For the price I thought it was very disappointing. You expect the quantity to be small when you're getting a specialist item such as an advent calendar, but the missing flavour and the sickly sweet flavour combined with the high price mean that I simply can't recommend this item.

Well presented, nice flavour, ,issing one of the flavours completely though
At £17.50, this belgian chocolate advent calendar needs to be something special to justify the price, and it doesn't really delivery.Given you receive 24 small chocolates within the pack (total weight 196grams), then you are looking at nearly £8.75 per 100 grams which is expensive. The chocolates inside come in 5 flavours, although I only received 4 different ones in mine (missing the Blond Salted Caramel G Cube entirely).I ended up getting 4 white chocolate, 6 dark chocolate, 6 milk chocolate and 8 Strawberry chocolates, so doesn't even match it's own packaging. The taste is nice, but personaly I wouldn't rate it higher than a Lily O'Brien or Hotel Chocolat, and if offered a box of Thortons Continental or this, Thornton's would win every day.I've rated as 3 stars as I believe it is overpriced and doesn't contain all the chocolates advertised on the box (which is also not an even distribution). There are better alternatives I'm afraid.

Rolls Royce of chocolate advent calendars?
Certainly a higher quality advent calendar than what I’ve sampled from or had in the past. As I’m reviewing this early March (and use by date is Sept 2024) it hard gauge how well it works as a Christmas gift so this is about the quality of the chocolates and it certainly wasn't a day by day opening to sample them haha. The presentation quality is second to none, with tied silk ribbon holding the main cover closed. With its price being double that average advent calendar and with the chocolate quality, its certainly a gift aimed more at spouse, parents or friends.Certainly a higher quality chocolate than most, smooth and creamy ganache filling with a nice balanced sweetness…not too sugary but not bitter like some pure chocolates. * Milk Chocolate G - smooth, velvety creaminess without an overpowering sweetness * White Chocolate Praline - creamy, with fine gritty praline texture. * Strawberry - not too sweet, subtle strawberry flavour with creaminess similar to that of a strawberry cheesecake * 70% Dark Chocolate - rich with a subtle creaminess. Very akin to the dark rich chocolate of a mud cake * Salted Caramel - creamy caramel milk chocolate with subtle hints of saltiness to balance the not overpowering sweetnessOverall a very sweet gifting item (pun intended), certainly more expensive than normal calendars but its look and chocolates will certainly be appreciated by family or friends….would keep away from the younger ones.

Nice
Nice calendar, chocolates were nice though we didn't get any of the salted caramel ones, mainly pinks, it was well sealed and came in a lovely box with a lovely Christmas design.
