This dental floss is my favorite! It is a little thicker than normal dental floss.

This floss is pretty cool. I bought it because it's biodegradable--I'm a regular flosser, twice a day, and glancing in my bathroom trashcan was enough to make me uncomfortable. All those plastic cases. SO much floss. I'm not as dedicated to the environment as I ought to be, but the shear quantity alarmed even me.I like that it's biodegradable and I like the cute little refillable glass dispenser. I don't know enough about activated charcoal to be excited about having it in my floss, but other people are, so hey, there's that. I REALLY like that it has grapefruit seed extract because that's been proven to be a useful element in removing plaque and tartar. I like the little knotty bits, too--they feel scrubby and effective.But the thing I like the most about this floss came as a complete surprise. Because it is black, I can see exactly what it's removing. With this black floss, I get instant feedback on how I'm brushing, and the areas I need to pay a little more attention to. I can also see how effective the products I use actually are--at any given time, I probably have four or five toothpastes in rotation, as well as three different mouthwashes (for pre- and post-brushing). There are real, visible, differences in how well some of them work.

I tried it and found that I had to keep using more because it kept breaking.

Using this black floss helps me to see where I need to floss more as the residue can be seen on the black cording.

Only dental floss I will ever use. High quality item. Works better than any floss I have used to get teeth/gums super clean.

I never write reviews but I am still in disbelief that I found a natural floss that actually works. My package came only in cardboard so great for zero waste. The bottle is glass with a metal top. That is IT, no plastic. The other flosses I have tried have a plastic package and were so hard it hurt to floss or the floss was just too weak. I also had no interest in silk floss. I have tight spaces in my teeth so do not worry about it breaking but it won't hurt your gums either. It also has a very mild taste in a good way. Not minty at all. I also have dropped the bottle many times and it has not broken. If you are looking for the perfect floss, just buy this. It is a wonderful value. You will not regret it.

I wanted this floss to perform well, but just didn't. It does NOT have the same breaking strength of Oral-B Glide. the problem with this floss is that it is round, like a rope, and I couldn't even make it through one quarter of my mouth with a three foot piece because it broke so many times. Because it is not flat, like Oral-B Glide, it is extremely difficult to wedge between close teeth. I floss EVERY single day, and I was hoping for a nice change. I completely wasted my money here. Buyer beware!!!

The product came packaged well. The only plastic was a small piece of tape and label on the overwrap, everything else cardboard and paper.Based on the pictures and descriptions of this item, I was under the impression you got 1 glass vial and 3 rolls of floss. You are in fact buying 3 vials and 3 rolls of floss.The construction of the item is great, the floss feeds well out of the containers and the built in cutter on the metal lid works perfectly. The floss itself has a minty aroma and flavor and it stands up well to tight teeth. Overall, very happy with my purchase, albeit the 2 extra vials are unnecessary. (I likely gift them).

Love, Love, LOVE this floss. I ran out of my regular floss and was looking for something comparable. Came across this one so thought I'd try it. It works great. Some of my teeth are very close and I have no issues getting the floss in between them. Needless to say I will not go back to my old floss.

I absolutely love this floss! It's the best floss I've used, and I actually enjoying flossing my teeth now knowing I'm not wasting so many little plastic containers! I would definitely recommend this if your thinking about switching. Love the peppermint taste.

After seeing polyester in the ingredients of the actual product packaging (it's missing from the Amazon listing), I found out from the seller that there is polyester indeed in it. However, she maintains that it biodegradable because it is a blend (proprietary technique). I also found out that while it is biodegradable, it is NOT compostable. If you are hoping to avoid plastic altogether, you will not be able to do that with this floss.Bottom line - it is biodegradable but NOT compostable.
