Easy to set up, good size and works really well. Good quality product and worth the money

It does what it says on the box.Although some assembly is required it is easy process that won't take longer than 10 minutes. Note: Instructions are easy but do not mention that end bit with red inside and "Aquastop" is meant for the "business end" of the hose. Because of this I had to re-assemble it as I put the plain connector on the hose only to later realise I need it for unexpected extra: tap connection set!.What you are getting is the reel, plain hose and set of connectors. Number of reviewers say it is cheap and nasty. Well, for £29 I did not have my expectations very high. Plastic seems sturdy enough, connectors are of good quality, hose itself is not a heavy duty kind but should stuffy for household purpose and there is unexpected extra for which I would add 6th star but at the same time I have to take away 2 stars for something else. Balance is 4 stars.Extra star is because:I did not expect the set to come with tap connector set. What it means is that it has tap "interface" for 2 diameters and also 2 connector bits. All you have to do is cut whatever length you need from the hose (I took 2 meters as I do not have an external tap and mine is located under the sink) and attach connectors on both ends.I am taking away stars for:1. Above extra is not clearly mentioned in product description and this fact plus that it was listed as "frequently bought together" led me to purchase a separate 1.5 m connector set for £10.2. To properly assemble it and prevent leaks you should use silicone grease. Instructions mention it in maintenance section but grease is not included. Come on! A small jar of grease would not bankrupt the company.

I bought this to replace my old Hozelock reel and it is so much lighter and easier to wind in the hose. It is also pretty good value. Most of the assembly is very easy but make sure you watch the youtube assembly video for this model. Excellent product.

As shipped, there is a hose, a reel, a spring, some connectors and a nozzle.Before the product may be used, it is necessary to cut off a short length of the hose, fit a spring, then a connector at one end and thread it into the reel at the other. It is also necessary to thread the remaining hose onto the reel and fit another connector to the opposite end. Only then may the hose be attached to a tap and to a nozzle. This takes a few minutes to do, but provided it is done carefully, there should be no leaks.Once set up, using the hose thereafter is simple. To attach a connector to a tap or nozzle, simply retract the collar of the connector, then slot in the desired item into the central aperture of the connector. To remove the item once finished, again retract the connector, then withdraw the item.The hose itself is of medium weight. It is sufficiently reinforced that it does not retain its shape if put under anything other than light pressure, but will regains its shape provided the such compression is only brief. It is capable of kinking, so must be wound onto and unwound from the reel with care.The plastic reel is light, sturdy and weatherproof. The entire hose loads onto the spindle within the limits of the flanges either side to yield a compact, securely stored hose when not in use.

Very poor instructions supplied with the hose, and as others have stated, there is no need to buy anything else with this hose set. This set contains a long hose, the hose stand, an adjustable nozzle end and enough fittings to assemble it all together. You will need to snip an appropriate length (instructions recomended 1.5m) off the main hose with scissors to serve as the connection from the tap and the hose stand. All fittings are tightened up by hand after pushing the hose in as far as possible and the whole thing took me about 10 minutes to assemble. Ensure all fittings are very tight to prevent leaks!. Another thing that isn't specified is the red aqua-stop fitting (one that's different from the rest) goes at the business end of the hose, the end that you plug the nozzle into. This prevents water spraying everywhere if it becomes detached for any reason and allows you to change attachments without draining the hose, but also means you have to have the nozzle attached for water to come out the end, if this matters to you...If you think this review has assisted in your decision to purchase/or not purchase this item, please indicate it has been helpful.Many thanks!

The hosereel has to be attached to an internal connector which has to assembled first, then needs to have a short hose spur attached for connecting to a tap. This all needs to be done by yourself, a job which should be factory pre-installed already. Once all assembled and connected to a tap the reel spur connector leaks really badly loosing copious amounts of water.

Comoda, pratica, istruzioni ben scritte. Possiede delle linee gialle più rigide che vendono la canna flessibile al punto giusto, ma sufficientemente rigida per gli attacchi. Consigliatissima

Both the hose and the reel have a good quality and delivers on what's supposed to do. The installation is easy, but the instructions that come with the product are very poor. However it is simple enough to figure out where everything goes, but if you still have doubts it's easy to find a video online with the step by step installation (just type "hozelock standing reel" on Youtube).

Der Schlauch lässt sich direkt an die Trommel anschließen. Diese wiederum hat an drei Positionen klassische Schlauch-Anschlüsse.Zwar neigt der Schlauch hier und da dazu zu knicken. Er lässt sich jedoch ansonsten sehr gut aufrollen. Die ganze Apparatur ist auch bei ordentlichem Wasserdruck noch dicht.Mit geliefert werden diverse Adapter und Endstücke für den Schlauch, so zum Beispiel die auf dem Bild gezeigte Spritze. Das Produkt wirkt durchdacht und mit einem Augenmarkt darauf entwickelt, möglichst viele Anwendungen zu ermöglichen. Insofern: top, klare Empfehlung!
