Used this wheel traveling and it brought so much peace of mind for our family while staying in hotels. Will always travel with this from now on. You’ll sleep so much better and it won’t take up a ton of room in your bag! Super simple to install and is so portable. It was compatible with all the Marriott hotel rooms we stayed in. It worked great. Perfect size for my hotel door. Security perfect. The first time I went through TSA Precheck it was fine. When I was coming back home going through TSA Precheck I got stopped it looked like a knife, but once TSA seen it I was clear. TSA man said that their scanners are not update because I didn’t understand why I didn’t get stop the first time. Its durability is good. Great value.

Got this for my college student to use in the dorm room, since the shared bathroom doesn't lock between suites and they were having issues with the suite mates coming in without permission at all hours of the day/night with other uninvited/unknown guests. yay college. Works great, easy to use, isn't permanent, doesn't damage the door/frame and keeps out unwanted visitors :) I got an extra one for myself to travel with after finding out how good this product is - highly recommended!

Works great for extra layer of hotel protection

Use this on my front and back doors. Gives me an extra sense of security. A MUST if you go on vacation. Felt safe and secure in my room knowing no one could get in easily.

Does not work, door opened anyway

We recently moved to another city into an apartment complex, but my door frame has already been kicked in before just by the appearance of it now so I am just going to use it when I travel, but I will be buying the bar door knob holder for the apartment

The lock is very well made and works well to secure doors however on three doors Ivtested it on the metal blade is too thick to work on doors with a narrow gap. Other locks with narrow blades work fine.

Safety first, especially for us ladies traveling. You really never know what to expect these days, and honestly we should live in a world where products like this aren’t necessary at all. But we live in this one instead, so if carrying a small travel gadget gives me an extra layer of security and peace of mind, then so be it. This portable door lock is compact, easy to carry, and simple enough to use once you get the hang of it. It adds that little extra barrier that helps you sleep a bit easier in hotels, rentals, or unfamiliar places. For just a few dollars, it’s worth it to me for the added sense of safety alone. I used this in Spain where the door in the apartment hotel was opened by an app...a little too dependent on the honesty of the staff for me (as most hotels ), it fit the secondary lock fine so no complaints. It can likely be forced with enough pressure but it will deter the opportunistic break in or the sound will be so loud you'll be alerted.
