I’ve been really happy with this portable AC! It cools my room down much faster than I expected, even on really hot days. It was pretty easy to set up, and the remote is super convenient. It’s a little noisy but nothing that bothers me, especially since it keeps the room so comfortable. Overall, it’s been a great purchase and definitely worth the money. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable way to keep a room cool!

The best AC unit I have ever purchased. I bought a different brand at a discount store and it is horribly loud and mildly cool. This one is very quit and very cool. I would give it more stars if possible, In comparison to a (very popular) store brand this is a way better purchase.

It is a awful seriously. I set it up a month in advance before needing to use it and it turned on, it was too cold to use at that point, the other day during a heat wave it wouldn't turn on. The service was the worse than the air conditioner. I never spoke to someone knowledgeable and a different language. She supposedly called someone to help troubleshoot after an hour and they simply sent a me an email, no help or support. They have a 12 month warrenty. Most of the reviews were good. I will never by a horrible humhold again. I also heard through one review a situation about not cooling so I hope this helps some other buyer, if they will post it. Neither the Product or Service is Reliable, So, heavy I was glad for the Fed Ex Guy's help, the airflow was like a fan and the unit was so small for one room and likely is energy efficient because it doesn't work. It says it doesn't need to drain, don't count on it. The top was soaked and I live in Maine !!! I have never been so unhappy with a product and I know it won't last and the cooling ? What ever it uses you can bet it will need replacing. I only turnedit on once and never started. So now what ? I have no idea, I really hope I have helped at least one person. I'm disabled wiht 5 autoimmune and so many injuries from falls, early retired with the penalty for it and I used nearly everything I had to buy this conditioner. I was fortunate I had a good Fed Ex Deliverer and it was sent in the carton. I wonder if I got a used one. I will never know. I'm more than sad about what happened with no way to return.

Spring arrived early this year and my new Humhold 12000 BTU has quickly become an essential component of my living space, offering reliable cooling for my 500 sq ft studio. While its cooling speed is exceptional, I also appreciate its moderate operating noise level. It is not completely silent but I do think that the sound of its running fan is within acceptable limits. I would think that this air conditioner is suitable for anyone who values a serene environment without compromising on cooling performance. Additionally, I appreciate the range of useful settings and functions that the air conditioner offers, such as dehumidification, timing, and sleep mode. I am so far very satisfied with the dehumidification function. In summary, the 12000 BTU portable air conditioner has so far exceeded my expectations in both cooling speed and noise level. I would recommend this air conditioner to anyone who is seeking an efficient and quiet cooling solution. While further testing may be required to assess its performance in various conditions, its performance thus far has been exceptional!

I gave 4 stars because it's def misleading. I've got it on cool mode and after the first day it felt like it wasn't running great and had a ton of condensation on the top. Come to find out, it does need to be drained. Yet it advertised as one that evaporated any moisture. Maybe it's due to high humidity? Once I set it up with the water hose to drain, it was running good again. I do hope we don't run into any other issues because it is working in this extreme heat! It's not super noisy...it's like having a pedestal fan on med or high. It was very easy to set up. I was hoping not to mess with constant drainage, but I'm not returning it just for that.

Finally got this hooked up, first off it's super heavy, very well made, it's on wheels so it moves easy. The room got INSTANTLY COLD. The remote is nice and has a ron of settings and timers. I wish the hose was longer I will try to see if I can extend it. You need to keep it 20 inches from all walls and obstacles for it to run proper, im working on making more space as you can see from my pics. It's proving to be very useful while we work on getting our expensive central air fixed. I highly reccomend this, spend the extra miney and get a nice unit like this.

For the 12,000 BTU Humboldt --I searched for hours to find a portable A/C with no drainage necessary for my West facing LR (325 sq ft) to compliment my 5 Ton HVAC that needs to work too much to cool that room. I install the Humboldt and ecobee smart thermo with sensor & humidity percentage in another room goes nuts. Ecobee says disable humidity sensor. OK. Next, it's a lot noisier than 46 db and a constant eeeeerrrrrrrr. Ok. to turn it off it blows in face on countdown from 20 to 0. I call customer service and Maurice explains to me that 20 to 0 is correct, the AC is made for a dormitory, everything must be closed tightly and the AC needs to be drained every 8 hours on humidifier setting with bucket for drainage AND EVERY TWO WEEKS on bottom. Unit must be LIFTED 1.5 FT off floor. Really? It's 60 pounds. "Get a neighbor to help", he says. Right? Here's what the description says-- great for basement, laundry room, etc and "【No Need To Drain】With Built-in water self-evaporation system, there is no need to drain water for daily use, the water will auto evaporate through hose. If it is placed in humid room (air humidity exceeds 60%) such as basement, laundry room, it needs to drain every 8 hours, or the machine will stop for the water tank inside is full, you need to unplug the drain plugs on the back and connect draining pipe to drain, then start the machine again. RETURNED -- Waiting for UPS to pick up. Meanwhile, my Ecobee says humidity in house is 51%! Do not buy this if you live ANYWHERE that there is ANY humidity unless you have a person who can lift it 1.5 Ft and drain it every two weeks. BTW, I have a Delonghi in my BR that I put on for .50 every so often, and in ten years it's never needed draining. Too bad there are none available to purchase right now.
